- Background
- Guiding bay fishing trips out of Port Aransas is my full-time job and since I both live here in Port A and I am on the water almost every day, I can put you on the best spots for fish all around the island. From freshwater to saltwater, for the last 41 years all over Texas, my friends have always wanted to go fishing with me. I have made lots of new friends and clients over the years who continue to do the same, so if you want to have a blast catching fish and make some of the best memories with your family, give me a call. I was blessed to catch the first red-tag Redfish in the CCA/STAR fishing tournament two years ago, and I used that boat until this year as my guide boat. Just picked up my new Majek 25 plus Illusion which I outfitted with the newest Garmin GPS/Fishfinder, two Raptor shallow water anchors, Ktop and a cooler for snacks/drinks.
- Techniques
- I enjoy catching, therefore, I use several methods of fishing depending on what the fish are biting on and our target species. That being said, I enjoy using lures in the morning for Trout and Redfish and even for Black Drum, cut bait, or live shrimp throughout the day. My goal is to find fish and figure out the best way to catch them so my clients and friends that I am fishing with have a blast while chasing down some keeper Reds, Trout, Flounder, or Black Drum. Of course, I do have lots of friends who just want to chase the big ones, so we can do that too, my main goal is to have fun on the water with my anglers. You tell me what you want to catch and I will do my best to make it happen! I have a very versatile and safe boat so we are able to get in super shallow spots or go fish deepwater on days when the wind is calm to find you a monster for a great trophy pic for catch and release or catch some dinner.
