My group of 9 arrived in Playa Flamingo excited and ready to fish. Thanks to the detailed coordination and great customer service from Debbie of “I Wish I Were Fishing Chaters” we were greeted to a warm welcome and quickly guided to our boats and awaiting captains and crews. After a short ride to the fishing grounds on well equipped vessels our skilled teams on each boat turned our excitement into a day to remember. We caught Tuna, Mahi Mahi, and Sail Fish not counting multiple missed strikes. The added treat… delicious fresh fruit & snacks, cold beverages, great music, and an all day Spinner Dolphin show that was worthy of National Geographic. A safe ride back to the marina with fresh fish fillets in the bag and huge smiles on our faces, completed the day.
I recommend giving them a call if you desire a great day of fishing in Costa Rica. I plan to again when I return with that same excitement because they delivered! Thanks Debbie to you and your staff for making our trip one to remember. Look forward to connecting next time i’m in Costa Rica!

We did a day offshore and a day inshore and everything was perfect - the boat was fantastic with great equipment, the crew were professional, friendly and couldn’t do enough to both help and make our experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible and we caught great Mahi Mahi, Roosterfish and Jack Crevalle. We loved every minute with the crew and on the boat and Debbie made everything smooth and seamless. We will definitely rebook next time we are in Costa Rica and would really recommend.

Our family of four (kids ages 16 & 18) had an amazing experience with Captain Josh, Kevin and Spanky! Would highly recommend Wishing I was Fishing through Salty Adventures. Crew was very knowledgeable and experienced. We caught lots of fish though the “big one” got away, it was still so fun and exciting. Drinks were provided, with some fresh snacks - even Yellow Tuna beautifully represented and a pineapple flower.And we got to eat our fresh catch when we got home - best fish tacos yet!! Do not hesitate to book your fishing trip! We’d do it again in a heartbeat! These guys love fishing!! Thanks so much for an amazing time!

This trip was absolutely amazing. Captain and crew were extremely professional. We went Marlin fishing all day long. We had two hook ups in the morning and then the bite slowed down but just as we were getting close to the end of the trip we hooked into a good one and stuck one! The crew never gave up and they kept working the entire time and gave us some amazing pineapple. Would definitely recommend!

Spent the day with Salty Adventures and had an amazing day. The CREW was 10/10. We caught Mahi Mahi, 5 Sailfish, and plenty of grouper, strawberry grouper, and tilefish. The crew worked really hard to ensure we had a great experience. My family fishes off shore often in New England, and we were beyond impressed with the crew and how they worked.  By the 5th sailfish, we were sailed out hahah. THANK YOU for such a great day. Already planning to come back for our family trip next year!
