Come aboard a real fishing boat or shed I say catching boat with Marryola Tours. Captain Daniel, the ultimate fish finding me Astro took us straight to the action where we battled and landed a monster hundred pound plus wahoo a record-breaking beast for the boat. His first mate Johnny is a fully ninja slicing up our catch with surgeon like precision we also caught yellow tuna and amberjack we saw humpback whales, and Sea turtles meeting. And oh that massive sailfish that snapped the line and got away we are still buzzing from the chase,  pure adrenaline. Will definitely be back.  Lisa Heath.

At 6.30 we went on the pacific with Captain Daniel and Johnny. First we did some bottom fishing and caught 2 Red Snapper which we later ate, 1 little Grouper, and a Yellowtail Snapper which we also ate. Then we did some trolling and caught a few nice Tunas which we later on used as bait for bottom fishing again. We had a giant Sailfish on the rod but unfortunately he came off. A few moments later Johnny had a nice fish again which I pulled up in a few minutes. A massive Cubera Snapper was in the Boat and I was so happy. We then caught some Triggerfish and than went snorkeling. Overall it was the best fishing trip I had and I would recomand it to beginners and pros.

Fishing in Costa Rica was a great experience!  We went on a half day fishing trip with Daniel and Johnny and had a great time! We have been on several deep sea charters where we didn’t catch anything, so I was hesitant to book another trip.  I’m so glad I did, as it wasn’t even 5 minutes after we started trolling that we hooked a yellowfin.  And then we caught several more back to back.  We did a mix of bottom fishing and trolling though it got super rough and windy and swells started rolling in.  We also saw several turtles and some dolphins. We would definitely recommend this trip and would book it again!  See you next time! Pura Vida!

We did a 3/4 day trip with Daniel and first mate Johnny. Lots of morning action, we caught about 15-20 Bonita and Skipjack that were safely released.  We were able to catch 3 nice yellowfin to bring home.

Then we bottom fished for snapper, catching about another 15 fish of a few species. We brought home 4 really nice red snapper.

We trolled ballyhoo for the last two hours and didn’t have any luck there, we had to move off our spot with a storm rolling in.

I brought my 10-year-old nephew and the trip was perfect for him- the fish were big enough to be fun for the adults to fight, but enough smaller fish that he didn’t get bored.

Overall an awesome trip, they worked hard to put us on the fish. Recommend no more than 3-4 anglers on the boat, it was perfect for 3. It would be somewhat doable with 4 but very crowded with 5+.

What an amazing day fishing with Captain Daniel with Maryola Tours in Tamarindo. He got my boys (7&8) on Yellowfin Tuna within 15 minutes and was beyond patient with them. When our oldest asked to try for Grouper & Red Snapper Captain Dan was on it. Then we spent the rest of the day trying for Marlin & Sailfish while the kids took a siesta on the boat. We got a nice one hooked and it put up a heck of a fight. Thank you Captain Daniel & Johnny for an amazing day. The fish you cleaned for us made for an amazing dinner on the beach. Pura Vida!
