Went out with Daniel and Johnny on 2/7/26. Daniel wanted to leave an hour early, which I like. we were out on the fishing grounds way before everyone else. Started off with Skipjacks, trying to pick yellowfin out of the schools. Ended up with one Yellowfin. My buddy asked to catch bigger fish, immediately hooked into a nice Sail. Did some jigging for red snapper, then went for Cabrera. Hooked into a massive Bull Shark while fishing the bottom for Cabrera, we wanted bigger fish and got it. Daniel put us on the fish and Johnny is uncanny at hooking up. Pura Vida!

Caught the BIGGEST FISH of my life on this charter. The captain and crew was very friendly, attentive, and well educated. My wife and I fish all the time back home, but nothing like what we caught on this charter. I really suggest anyone looking for an exceptional experience and to catch some BIG FISH and nice fish to eat after the trip you should look no further and book with them. We had an amazing time and we caught fish! The boat in good condition, had food, drinks, and a good time. We went out early for the tuna bite, and we caught several yellowfins and skipjacks on spin reels. Then we went for snapper and caught four on a jigging setup. Then caught a bull shark because my son asked to catch a shark, I thought they were kidding when they said yes, but that made his day!. We finished with trolling for mahi, but they weren't biting that day. When we got off the boat we had plenty of fish for lunches and dinner for a few days. I will be looking them up again when we go back.

Booked this charter because of the positive reviews and found out for myself that they are well deserved. Captain Daniel and his first mate were friendly locals that knew their waters. They put us on fish and we caught more than I expected. I’m a better fisherman after the experience and the captain’s guidance. We got skipjack tuna, parrot fish, trigger, and a massive Rainbow runner that the captain commented was one of the best of the last year. The first mate fillet the rainbow and gave us the best part. We then had lunch on the beach at Walters, based on the captain’s recommendation, and it was fantastic. Five stars doesn’t really describe our level of satisfaction. Book this charter!

we went out for a six hour tour. caught a bunch of red snapper for dinner within 30 minutes. we went to try for some big fish after that and sadly didnt catch anything. luck just wasn’t with us that day. I dont belive that was the captains fault as we trolled the waters for hours with multiple lines. Was hoping for a dolphin, sword, rooster or anything of size for my son but sometimes the day just isnt right. But the captain was very nice and friendly and id give it another shot next time im down here in the area.

Iwas offered an earlier time than the original but I believe fate had it that way. Not even 3 mins into our trip, including ride time, I was hooked into beautiful sailfish. Then not too long after I reeled i a nice yellow fin tuna, my dinner that night. These guys made this trip extra special and memorable. I'd highly recommend them if you're looking for a great day fishing!

We catch, skipjacks and Mahi mahi we have a wonderful experience like always, with Daniel and crew there are not surprises just good fishing thanks Daniel and crew, viva la pesca en Tamarindo !!!

We were a family of four adults who went out with Captain Daniel and Jose for a 3/4 day fishing trip. We were warned in advance the the wind conditions were going to be an issue. It was. We could only troll and only in a fairly limited range that offered a little shelter from the wind. Even under complicated conditions, we had a “fish on” every 15 minutes or so. It was a good day for us, but a harder than normal day for Captain Daniel and Jose. Given the limiting conditions, they did a great job keeping us in the boat and catching fish. My family came back soaking wet, loaded with great memories, and ready to go back again - even if it’s windy.

Went on a 3/4 day fishing trip with Daniel. we caught a pile of Snapper early morning, then set up for Roosterfish later. the wind was crazy and we were recommended to go for 1/2 day instead, which we did, and it was the right choice. We did not catch any Roosters, but Daniel and Johnny worked their butts off to get us on fish. They were both great to have as Captain/first mate. Very friendly and having a captain that spoke great English was also a plus. We brought our fish to Walters restaurant, and were not impressed with how it was cooked. overall a great day and some beautiful scenery. We caught probably 20 Snapper. Would definitely recommend this trip to others. Thank you Daniel!

It was amazing to be in Costa Rica on a fishing charter. It's a private boat only enough room for a family. The captain was great, and the boat was very clean. It was just smaller than I had been on in the past. Also, it was a couple days after an earthquake, and the waters were very very rough. It was our fault for not taking anti-nausea meds, but no one in my family ever gets motion sick, but we were all sick. I think if the captain would say ahead of time - be sure and take antinausea, that would be helpful. There was cool music on the boat and it was so cool to catch a giant fish. You could tell Daniel was very experienced. They did a great job of cleaning the fish and keeping us safe out there. The next time we come to Costa Rica, we will check it out again we will just be more prepared. Also remember you cash for the payment.
