Captain Jake is the man! Great communication beforehand and a super fun experience throughout the trip. Captain Jake knows these waters like the back of his hand and was quick to share his knowledge about the fishery and his different tactics. He was very accommodating to my dad, who didn’t quite have his sea legs under him yet. Even got him on the biggest tarpon of his life! Captain Jake will do everything he can to get you on the fish, along with providing a great experience and a friendly attitude.

Super nice guy. He was busy the whole time keeping us baited up. Caught at least 8 different kinds of fish.
Thank you for a great time on the Indian River today. We have great stories about all the different fish we caught. The puffer was a great surprise.  We will make up more stories about the huge Pompano that got away.  Thank you for pointing out the manatee-dolphins and birds. You’re very knowledgeable.

Hey guys, this is the real deal! We spent a half day (morning) with Jake and we caught fish in EVERY SPOT WE FISHED!!!  We caught Snook, LOTS of Snapper, Catfish ( good fight!),  Needlefish (weird), and even a barracuda (bitey!). We had multiple dolphin encounters and saw numerous bird specious and even sharks!
The boat is beautiful, clean, and has ample gear and implements to make the experience easy, effortless, and downright fun for those who are not great at fishing (that would be me!). Also, you really learn a lot! It is a very relaxed and carefree atmosphere out there on the water, and the epitomy of vacation.
Jake is an informative and respectful fisherman. We only took what we needed and he treated the environment and the animals with great consideration.
He filleted our catch (snapper) for us after the tour. Dinner!!!!
Jake asked my boy what his favorite song/band was and we rocked out to it on the way back to the boat launch.

We could not have asked for more.

Jake was so patient and great with my 8 year old boy- my boy had such a great time that he has already made me promise to book again the next time we are in town!

I’m willing to bet Jake would catch way bigger fish if he had grownups that were serious fisherman on his boat…..

This was a wonderful excursion, and I highly recommend it!

After getting the four of us on board, Captain Jake took us to some hot fishing spots. There was a hit on our line almost immediately at the first spot. I caught a 37 inch Snook within the first hour or so. Sadly too big to keep but got some great photos. Our group also caught a Crevaille Jack and a couple Gafftop sail catfish. Captain Jake was knowledgeable about the area and provided a great experience. 11/10 would fish again.

We booked a last minute trip with Captain Jake and we wish we’d have booked him earlier in my vacation. My 12 year old son had a great time, thanks to Jake. I told him we wanted to target tarpon and snook, and that is what we did. It didn’t take long before we were on some really nice tarpon. We didn’t manage to get any to the boat, but we hooked up several times and got to feel the rush that only comes with big tarpon. We also caught barracuda, a bull shark, and snook. We will definitely be contacting Jake in the near future. It was truly a great trip!
