Dave was a nice guy and knowledgeable, and we did catch some sharks. However, there were several not so great things about the trip.

1) The description said we would have a captain and first mate and we did not, so Dave ended up having to do everything himself, and we even had to do some of the work for him.
2) The boat is fairly slow and we spent at least 30-40 minutes going out to fish, and the same to come back, which means over an hour of our trip was eaten up by that.
3) We spent at least another half hour of our trip after we got out there, dragging a net to catch bait… and we were expected to do the work involved with that. It ate into even more of our fishing time and was not exactly fun and relaxing for us. He should catch the bait on his own time, not ours.
4) The boat is more of a commercial vessel than a recreational fishing vessel. There was NO actual seating for us to use, and we spent half the time standing and trying to stay out of his way while he moved around the boat trying to do everything. It was uncomfortable and most likely contributed to our sons getting a little queasy on the trip. 

Despite Dave being a nice guy and trying to give us a good trip, I would recommend finding a different charter option with a faster, more comfortable boat, and an actual first mate on board.
