Incredible value for $275. They helped us with special parking in a congested area guided in by a native English speaker. I speak enough Spanish to get by, but appreciated this. Then we got on the boat and I was surprised to see a captain and two deckhands for the the three of us, including me and two teenage kids. Manuel and Alberto were friendly, helpful, and ready for action at all times. We trolled out to the reefs fishing the whole way with stick lures, then bottom fished with cut squid. The captain kept moving us to find the bite. He also seemed to like that we enjoyed learning about a fishery unfamiliar to us. The action was some of the best we have experienced on guided trips. We caught rockcod (actually a perch but larger than most species), sand bass, calico bass, and rockfish. I’m told that normally in July you can catch some warmer water species like mahi but that the warm currents were pushing up late this season. After 30 or so fish we aboard, the captain spied some barracuda and we started trolling again, and picked up two, one about 3 feet long and the other about 2. He clearly enjoyed seeing us get into fish. Alberto cleaned the fish and made sure he was doing it the way I needed. These folks are excellent, and I won’t hesitate to try the deep sea trip in the future. It was standout experience on our Baja road trip, and my crew very much appreciated this crew.

Great time with Capt Chebo, Again! Despite the bad weather (10ft swells, 30mph winds), and the fact it churned up the water so it looked milky, Capt Chebo worked his butt off to find us safe places to fish, and even managed to catch a few on a really bad day for fishing conditions. I was super impressed with how Capt Chebo never gave up, and we never sat around not catching fish. If we werent getting bit, we moved on. Definitely could have used better weather ... But i will definitely be back because of Chebo’s never give up attitude, and his constant considerations for keeping us safe as well. Thanks Chebo, Capt Yharra, and Marcos. See you this summer!!!

Fishing was very slow, boat was small, it was cold and rainy with no cover to get out of the rain. We were ill-prepared, but the company should think about carrying at least a blanket and/or an umbrella. Next time we will make sure we pick a bigger boat with a canopy. Our initial trip had to be cancelled due to a change in itinerary on our cruise, so this was a last-minute booking. I’m sure they have had better days, but we had a bad experience.
