We had an amazing offshore fishing trip with Captain Will — truly a standout experience. From the moment we boarded, he made everyone feel welcome, especially the kids. His calm, friendly demeanor and genuine enthusiasm kept them engaged the entire time. Their excitement was contagious.

The boat was spotless and well-equipped, and Captain Will clearly knew the best spots to find fish. We caught a great variety and learned a lot along the way. I couldn’t have imagined a better day out on the water. We started the trip by catching bait and then moved out into deeper water to target a wide variety of species. Along the way, we were even treated to a dolphin sighting—my wife was thrilled!

Captain Will put us right on the action. By the end of the trip, I was completely worn out from reeling in big fish. We caught just about every species you could hope for—amberjack, red snapper, triggerfish, sharks, and several others.

The boat with Tailslide Charters is top-notch, and Captain Will ensures you’re well taken care of with music playing and complimentary waters and Gatorades ready to go. He’s not only an excellent guide but also incredibly patient, informative, and just an all-around great guy.

As an avid freshwater angler, and someone who’s been deep sea fishing before, I can honestly say this was my favorite trip. If I’m ever back in Destin, I’ll definitely be booking with Captain Will again. Highly recommend!

Will took us out and gave us a great experience. From starting with catching live bait to hitting up different spots, we had an awesome time. The rain hit at one point and we stuck it out getting to catch fish in the rain and thunder. Caught tons of different fish; vermillion snapper, trigger fish, king mackerel, and amber jack! Even though we couldn’t keep the amber jack because it was out of season, they gave the best fight! Would definitely go again in the future and you won’t have a bad time when you go out with Will for your fishing trip!

Captain William was fantastic! We caught fish the entire time and had a blast! William was incredibly kind, easy to talk to and very personable. He was so fast at rebaiting our lines to keep us fishing literally three whole time- it was quite impressive! We cannot recommend Captain William enough and will definitely choose him again the next time we are in the area!

Will was a great guy and knowledgeable fisherman. He got us on the fish right away and kept us on them! The 3 of us limited out on red snapper, vermilion snapper and also caught a couple of lane snapper! Next time we’re in this area, we’ll be heading back out with him again, for sure!! Awesome day of fishing!
