	February brings the start of the annual King Mackerel migration. Find plenty both nearshore and offshore! Half day trips will see you targeting False Albacore, while full days will be all about Grouper, Snapper, and Wahoo.&nbsp;</div>

	The nearshore waters are starting to heat up, drawing an abundance of finger mullet. Their top fans are some of the most prestigious game fish around including Amberjack, Kingfish, and Mahi Mahi.</div>

	April is all about the magnificent Cobia. The most foolproof way to locate these amazing fish is by keeping an eye on Manta Rays swimming by their side during their migration to the north.&nbsp;</div>

	If you're visiting during May, the King of the Inlet Offshore Fishing Tournament is a must. Or escape the crowds and go after Tuna, Cobia, Wahoo, or Redfish – May fishing won't disappoint.</div>

	With the waters warming up, the Gulf Stream is much closer to the coast. This is your chance to target big game species without heading far from shore. Barracuda and Amberjack are great nearshore targets.&nbsp;</div>

	With hot and humid weather in July, morning trips are the best solution. You'll be targeting Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, and Sharks closer to shore, along with Mahi and others if you head a bit farther out.</div>

	Afternoon rain is highly likely in August, so morning trips are still your best option. Reefs and wrecks are the most productive areas – you'll be targeting fish looking for food in cooler spots under the surface.</div>

	September in Ormond Beach is all about Tarpon migrating to the south. This is probably the best month for fishing – the waters are warmer than ever but the weather is much milder as fall approaches.&nbsp;</div>

	October brings a lot of change into these waters – bigger fish will be moving farther out. You'll still be able to catch Sharks, Mahi, False Albacore, and Kingfish close to shore. Sharks can also be found offshore.&nbsp;</div>

	Ormond Beach fishing in November will see you going offshore after game species on their way south along the Gulf Stream. Full day trips are the best option, especially if you want to focus on King Mackerel.&nbsp;</div>

	Full day offshore trips are still the best option for anglers looking to land something huge. However, December's superstars are inshore species such as Redfish, Sheepshead, and Black Drum.</div>
