We’d like to thank Capt Artie for a nice trip. He was very personable and accomoodating which was a plus. He absolutely knows the inshore waters. We asked for enough fish for dinner and anything above that was a bonus. We got that and then some. He did a fantastic job. If you have a small 2 to 3 man party, that wants a few hours on the water, I definitely reccomend this charter

June can be a tough month to fish. But despite the less than ideal time of the year, rainy, and windy weather, Captain Artie still made it happen. I booked this trip for my father, brother, and I and Captain Artie made it one to remember. We kept two 26 inch reds and a just below 20 inch black drum. Captain Artie was amazing. we lit out and within 15 minutes we were catching croaker and flounder. Although it wasn’t flounder season and we couldn’t keep them it was still a great time. Then we scooted around some other spots and caught a few fish here and there. Then he put us on the red drum! That was so amazing to catch these big boys while fishing with my twin 20-year-old sons. Took my 10yo son and uncle out with Capt Artie and had a great day.  Caught a ton of bull reds, along with trout and black drum.  Probably landed ~30 fish (11 of which were bull reds).  It was a very busy day. Capt Artie had great spots for us to fish and had a wide range of baits to change to as we targeted different fish at different points.  He did a great job of keeping the trip enjoyable.  Even when we had some of the larger fish wrap around all of our lines (twice), he was good... I would definatly reccomend going out on a charter with Capt Artie. He was patient with my 11 yr old son and put him on the best fish of day.  This was our first time to North Carolina. We went out for a 6 hr trip and right from the 1st spot we were catching fish. In our trip we caught a over 10 different species of fish that we had never seen before. It was a trip that all of us will never forget.
