Based out of Southport, Hounddog Fishing Charters is your ticket to a memorable time on the water.
Come on aboard with Capt. Artie, whose main priority is to get you on some fish. Expect to use techniques like light tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, jigging, and spinning, based on the species you're targeting. Speaking of which, you have the option of 4 to 6-hour trips, where you'll be fishing for the likes of Spanish Mackerel, Redfish, Flounder, and Black Drum, depending on the specific season and the day's weather.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 21' Nauticstar boat that can safely take up to 4 anglers. This boat features an ice box and a wireless trolling motor.
All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip. All that's up to you is to use it as best you can. As for fishing licenses, everything will be taken care of by the captain so you don't have to worry about it.
You're welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip.

We caught plenty of Red Drum. Our biggest fish of the day was a black drum. Capt Artie is a great captain and will work hard for your party to catch fish and have a good time. I highly recommend.
