We had the most amazing time fishing with Captain Logan! I went with my wife and our 7-year-old son, and from the moment we stepped onto the boat, Logan made us feel safe, welcome, and excited for the day ahead.

He was incredibly patient with our son, teaching him how to cast and reel like a pro, and celebrating every catch with genuine enthusiasm. We caught several beautiful fish and made memories we’ll treasure forever. The boat was clean and comfortable, and Logan’s knowledge of the area and the best fishing spots was truly impressive.

Logan had the bait and equipment to put us on some fish. We caught some big ones, but most of all, everyone had a great time!
Went out into the Gulf and a couple of us were not feeling well I. The choppy waters, but we fished a little out there and caught fish and then came into the bayou to smoother waters, and caught more fish.
Logan was awesome and very accommodating. Would 100% book with him again!

Logan was a very seasoned captain, familiar with the area. He was clear with his explanations while being friendly. He engaged with my 11 year old son. He challenged us but also gave great tips and instructions.  He allowed us to do as much or as little as we wanted. He fished as well but yielded the good catches to my son. Him participate helped us know the techniques and spots.

Now as far as putting us on the fish…..  we spent time on flats that yielded some sort of action on most casts. It was a lot of fun. We caught as many trout as we wanted. We also got a couple nice red fish. Logan even snagged 2 Ray that my son reeled in. We even caught a gar which fought like crazy.

Overall I would book another trip with Logan in a heartbeat.

We recently had the pleasure of going on an evening fishing trip with Captain Logan, and it was an experience my son and two nephews will never forget. From the moment he called to warn us about the windy conditions and less-than-optimal fishing, I knew we were in good hands. The heads-up was much appreciated, especially since the kids were bouncing off the walls, fueled by sugar and at the end of a long vacation.

As soon as we got on the water, Captain Logan took us straight to one of his favorite spots, where we were thrilled to find a blue crab. The kids were fascinated as he patiently taught them all about it before we used it for bait—a real hands-on learning experience! We started fishing and, although we lost the first few, the excitement never wavered. Captain Logan’s calm demeanor and expertise shone through as he guided us through the process.

Then came the real action—reeling in fish bigger than our youngest fisherman, landing two fish simultaneously, all while dolphins playfully surrounded the boat. It felt like a scene out of a movie! Captain Logan’s patience and teaching made all the difference, ensuring the kids felt confident and involved every step of the way.

Beyond the fishing, Captain Logan had a treasure trove of stories that kept us entertained between catches, and his focus on safety ensured everyone felt comfortable throughout the trip. The combination of education, excitement, and those incredible dolphin sightings made this an outing we’ll be talking about for years to come.

Exceeded expectations!

We frequent PCB once a year for the last 8 years and have chartered fishing boats every year,we have never had as much fun as we did this year with Gulf Coast Guide and Adventure. Captain Logan put us on the fish (reds, snapper, skip jacks, sharks, trout) YES we pulled all these fish in the boat, plus two monsters that snapped the line, ima take a my bad in that one. We caught some for sport and some for dinner. About an hour into the trip the bottom feel out Captain Logan gave the option of running from weather, heading back to the doc or fishing in the rain. Of course my crew headed right into the teeth of the storm and seen it out my boy. TOTALLY worth it! One more thing about my crew is that we love to cut up, Captain Logan had the same sense of humor, which made for a trip full of laughs. If you want a pole bending, drag ripping, adrenaline filled trip, well captain Logan is the man.
