GulfCoast Guide Fishing & Adventure runs angling trips out of Panama City and offers to show you what the local fishery is all about.
Come on aboard with Capt. Logan, whose main priority is to get you on some fish. Expect to use techniques like light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, big game fishing, drift fishing, gigging, handline, jigging, popping, and spinning, based on the species you’re targeting. Speaking of which, you have the option of 4-hour trips, where you’ll be fishing for the likes of Snapper, Amberjack, Dolphin, Cobia, Triggerfish, and Flounder, depending on the specific season and the day’s weather.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 22’ Pathfinder boat that can safely take up to 4 anglers. This boat features an ice box and a wireless trolling motor.
When it comes to rods, reels, and terminal tackle, everything you need is included in the price.
Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day.
You’re welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip.
Children are welcome aboard so you’re good to get the young ones started early.

6 Hour Trip – Offshore 6 (AM)
HIGHLY recommend Captain Logan! 10/10 experience!!
Captain Logan was incredible!! I went with my boyfriend and he was super welcoming and a great teacher. He worked hard to put us on the fish and kept the action going for us. He kept our lines baited and put fish straight in the cooler as we pulled them in. We hit up a few spots and caught red snapper, trigger, red grouper, strawberry grouper, black snapper, oyster toad fish, squirrel fish, and caught the limit on vermilion snapper!! At some points I did get a little queazy from the wake bc I do get easily nauseous. Logan was extremely kind and made sure I was sitting in the shade and had ice to stay cool. Great day on the water. Very accommodating and knowledgeable of the area. Highly recommend!!! Captain Logan will definitely be our go to charter guy next time we are in town!

Best Fishing Trip Ever!
I truly do not understand how there could be a single bad review about Logan! Our kids (ages 3 and 8) wanted a personalized fishing experience so we booked a 4 hour offshore trip last minute before heading back home. Logan has a great personality and my boys warmed up to him immediately. He is such a patient person, a gentle teacher, and helped our kids every single moment of our trip. Even when they got crabby near the end, Logan didn't mind and was still patient with them and getting them engaged with the fishing. My husband and I went in to this trip expecting to just focus on the kids and sit back from fishing, but Logan made sure we all got to fish, and I couldn't tell you the last time we both got to fish when we have had our kids on a boat. We caught tons of fish and if we mentioned a particular species, he made sure to get us on them. If the fish stopped biting at one spot, Logan was moving to make sure we got to a spot where they were. My husband wanted to keep some mahi mahi and my boys wanted to be independent as much as possible when fishing, and Logan made sure all of that happened. Overall, we had a fantastic trip. Our son has repeatedly told us how great of a time he has had as well and made sure to inform us we have to go see Logan every time we come to Florida. Book the trip because it is worth every penny and more to see your children have such a great time and have all your expectations surpassed!!

We had the most amazing time fishing with Captain Logan! I went with my wife and our 7-year-old son, and from the moment we stepped onto the boat, Logan made us feel safe, welcome, and excited for the day ahead. He was incredibly patient with our son, teaching him how to cast and reel like a pro, and celebrating every catch with genuine enthusiasm. Logan landed the meat
Logan was a very seasoned captain, familiar with the area. He was clear with his explanations while being friendly. He engaged with my 11 year old son. He challenged us but also gave great tips and instructions. He allowed us to do as much or as little as we wanted. He fished as well but yielded the good catches to my son. Him participate helped us know the techniques and spots. Now as far as putting us on the fish….. we spent time on flats that yielded some sort of action on most casts. It was a lot of fun. We caught as many trout as we wanted. We also got a couple nice red fish. Logan even snagged 2 Ray that my son reeled in. We even caught a gar which fought like crazy. Overall I would book another trip with Logan in a heartbeat.

Amazing Offshore Experience
Have a good amount of freshwater and inshore fishing experience so this offshore fishing was newer for my son (8 yo) and I. Captain Logan put us on the fish and helped us quickly learn what was needed. What I appreciated the most was that he gave my 8 year old just the right amount of help and guidance while still teaching him and empowering him to manage his own line (rod handling, reeling, etc…). He gave him (and I) skills and confidence we can take forward in future fishing experiences and use. Will definitely book with him again in the future.

I truly do not understand how there could be a single bad review about Logan!
