We were on vacation and wanted to stay together, but some were against “wasting” their time fishing. Enter Gabriel and Carlos to save the day. They took us out on a 6 hour fish and snorkel combo which included a restaurant stopover on a beach accessible by boat only. At the end of the day, everyone was happy, including my 18 year old daughter who was not happy about the trip. Gabriel is a fantastic Captain and guide. He worked hard to make sure that everyone got in on the action and enjoyed the trip. We caught plenty of small to medium size fish and kept trying for the elusive marlin or large dorado. If you are looking for a guide, I would highly recommend Gabriel, even more so if you are taking out a family.

We booked in for a 6 hour trip. It almost wasn’t able to happen due to timing from other activities from the day if we had to start later but Gabriel was on top of things and got us on a boat with Angel and Carlos. These guys took us out and not even 5 minutes out of the marina we were on fish. Everyone in the group of 5 got a chance to catch a few and reel them in. We also stopped for snorkeling for a quick break. Very friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and their craft. We couldn’t make a big game trip this time around but we are already making plans to come back and land some big fish with Angel and Carlos again. Can’t speak highly enough about these guys and the great day they provided.

Gabriel and his son took our group of 5 out for a 6-hour trip. It was a gorgeous day, and there was lots of activity on the water. Not far from leaving the marina, we saw dolphins and manta rays. Shortly after, the fish started biting. Unfortunately, mine slipped the hook, but it was a great fight and experience for the time I got to reel. Then my friend was able to land her a 25 lb jack crevalle. Later in the day, another friend landed a smaller mackerel, and we saw a huge sea turtle and more mantas. Gabriel shared a lot about his culture and the history of Puerto Vallarta, it was great to learn. They worked really hard for us the whole time, and we had an amazing day. We will definitely be booking with them again in the future! Thank you Gabriel for a fantastic adventure!!

It was a gorgeous day for fishing! In addition to pulling in some Jacks, we took a break so we could snorkel, and there were so many beautiful fish virtually right there in front of your eyes. Loved how the captain catered to the kids, finding a sea turtle, a giant manta ray, and a huge school of little manta rays that he got us near so we could see them. He and his crew member worked so hard all day to give us the best experience, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Highly recommend booking with them!

Gabriel worked hard to put us on the fish. We went out with a plan based on what WE wanted to catch and how WE wanted to fish. Gabriel has an amazing ability to read the ocean, I have never fished with someone who can see life on and in the ocean like him. He was then flexible to adjust to what was biting to put us on the action. Gabriel was a great communicator and a wealth of knowledge on the bay, surrounding areas, and the ocean. With our prior experience fishing in PV, the captains would do what they wanted even when told we were not interested in certain types of fishing. These charters were more excited about catching Spanish Mackeral, deep dropping,  and making ceviche even after being told this was not what we wanted. We got all we wanted from our trip with Gabriel and will be scheduling with him again next week and coming back in the fall/winter for a fishing vacation with him.
