This was our first time shrimping!! There were 4 in our party. We had the best experience. Captain John was so very nice and down to earth. He explained everything about shrimping and we all dove right in. We helped pull the net in, we separated the shrimp from the fish. The best part was we went home with a ton of shrimp!! Upon arrival we were greeted by the captain and crew. The captain informed us rain was in the forecast and asked if we would still like to take the trip. Sure we wanted to go. A little rain wouldn’t hurt anything. Once we got to the spot to drop the shrimp net the rain started and only proceeded to get worse. We did the realllllly early morning charter. Captain John & mate Rowdy were prepared for us and made everything so easy. Both were great in imparting their knowledge on the local area, historics and everything fishing! Only two of us & they caught us a few bluefish, plus at least 3 dozen good size male crabs! (I tossed the females back in cuz I’m picky). That was perfect for us. Highly recommend this charter and we’ll be back! Would love to come back when shrimp are in season.  Thanks, guys!

Captain John and First Mate Dalin were great to take a 4 hour trip with.  The boat was clean and well equipped.  It was our groups first time shrimping and crabbing and we really enjoyed the experience.  The crew was great with the kids (ages 9 and 7) and let them pull in the crab pots. We caught more crab and shrimp than we could eat!  It was a great experience for all involved and would highly recommend.

Capt John and his first mate, Rowdy, were great. We brought a family of 5 with young children who never have been on a boat or went crabbing. They were incredibly patient and answered all of their questions. They included the kids in all aspects of catching the crabs. We ended up with 2 full baskets of blue crabs and the kids were pooped by the end and took a peaceful nap on the boat ride back to the dock.  10/10
