5 Hour Trip – Lake Trout Jigging • 2 adultsI reached out to Captain Sterling while visiting VT from RI to take my 16 year old son fishing. He did not disappoint! My son had an amazing time and caught multiple trout and freshwater drum. My son really liked Sterling and had a great time! We will definitely book with him again when we visit VT! Thanks Captain for a great experience! It was the highlight of Colston’s summer!

5 Hour Trip – Lake Trout Jigging • 4 adults • 1 childWe had an excellent trip with Sterling. We caught a lot of fish (big ones!) and had a lot of fun! He was great at explaining the techniques to my kids and got us right on the fish. We would definitely fish with him again if we're in the area. Highly recommend this charter!

5 Hour Trip – Lake Trout Jigging • 2 adultsCaptain Sterling is very knowledgeable when it comes to techniques it takes to get the fish on the line. He also knows where the fish are and gets you on them with great results. We caught lots of Lake Trout and some monster Drums. Highly recommend.

Chasing freshwater monsters ?

The late summer fishing has been epic to say the least some days better than others of course but today was one of those days everyone dreams about! Crazy lake trout bite first thing in the morning then switched over to casting for freshwater drum and this lucky client caught the biggest one so far this year. I run strictly casting and jigging trips for these fish at this time of year and once you feel them on the other end of the line, youll know why! Its a fight that just cant be matched when trolling.

The freshwater drum fishing has been absolute insanity these last couple weeks with fish pushing over 20lbs on light tackle rods makes for a thrilling fight. Pound for pound these drum are some of the hardest fighting fish in the lake. The lake trout jigging has slowed to a halt as the lake recovers from the massive flooding on july 10th but the bite will return as the lake settles
