Thank you Salt Dawg for making our 30th wedding anniversary memorable and fun! Captain Andrue and his father Alfredo provided us with VIP service and went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing fishing trip! They picked us up, provided all of the gear, had bait ready to go, an ice chest full of drinks, ceviche for lunch, and a great playlist of music! This father and son are experts who are kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and communicated with us to make sure our trip was ten stars! We can’t wait to come back to Loreto and fish with them again. We recommend everyone looking for a fantastic fishing experience to book the Salt Dawg soon! Thank you for a fabulous fishing adventure! We had our resort restaurant cook up our fish all different ways and celebrated our anniversary with Yummy fresh Yellowtail.

I booked 2 days with SaltDawg. Andrue and his dad where AMAZING! As an American, non-spanish speaking woman traveling solo I was a bit nervous and wanted to make sure I was comfortable and safe. They definitely hit that bar and exceeded it. Everything was as described in their bio! I had the time of my life!! You could say I’m hooked!! I felt safe, cared for, accommodated and my dream of catching my first yellowtail finally can true. I WILL be back (and with some Spanish under my belt) and I wouldn’t think of booking with anyone else!!
They had lunch for me, drinks and we caught multiple species. They took me to one of the islands and I got some underwater footage of some reef. They cut, packaged and froze my meat. Andrue’s Aunt brought me my cooler at the airport day of my flight. It was spot on weight for the flight. I do suggest you bring your own cooler with wheels when you come to Loreto. The town is a small fishing town, majestic and beautiful. It was awesome and everyone was very nice. I will never book with anyone else when in Loreto. I kept seeing all the other boats and by far SaltDawg is the best. I kept saying while out on the water, “I choose wisely.” I will be back, I will book with SaltDawg again and I know they will put me on fish. If they got me on 4 yellowtail in not the best weather I can only imagine what it will be like when the weather is warmer and the Mahi Mahi are bitting. Thank you so much for everything. Dreams do come true!!

We had a n incredible day with our Captain and the Salt Dawg experience. I could not recommend it any more. If there were 10 Stars, we would have chosen that. We had seals, dolphins and a turtle along the route in addition to some massive yellowtail.  Our thanks and I won’t book anywhere else ever again!!!  Thank you!

This is my second trip with Andrue.  He is an amazing captain and host.  He is great at finding the fish and going the extra miles it took to get to the fish.  On land he always finds us great places to eat and places to see and shop.  The best part of fishing with Andrue is he takes excellent care of the fish we catch and vacuum packs the fish to make sure what you take home is the best it can be.  I can’t wait to go back down again this year!
