My first guided fly fishing trip ever, and Alaska and Fishhound Expeditions did not disappoint!  Caught quite a few beautiful rainbow trout and a couple of grayling.  The rainbows were amazing and even included some aerial acrobatics to add to the excitement!  My guide, Elijah, couldn’t have been more friendly, helpful and accommodating.  And the cold beer and hot reindeer brats on the riverbank made the trip just that much more enjoyable. This was our first time fly fishing and the crew was outstanding! We ranged in ages from 13-40 and the crew did adjusted their teaching to make sure everyone was comfortable and confident. As luck would have it, we got our first fish within seconds of the fly hitting the water. The best part about it, is the crew showed genuine excitement for the kids whenever they got on fish. We had a group of 7 and we did the float trip for a full day. The time was perfect and it flew by quickly. We had a great time. Blake, Cody and Shane were very nice, respectful and knowledgeable about the river, fish, and the environment!
