With us getting to May that means the sheepshead bite is starting to wind down and the cobia bite is starting to heatup. Were still catching a good many sheepshead offshore with most trips coming home with 10 to 15 quality fish. My first trip out for cobia of the season and we had our limit within an hour. We saw a few very nice fish out there around the 40-50 pound range and lots of smaller fish so we should have a good cobia season.

Getting to the end of tarpon season and the bites still going strong. Getting two to three shots at them each trip. The bull red bite has just started out as well with plenty of them around the sound.

Trip was on time, went out for a couple hours caught bait. Went to bridge and caught two sharks. Boat was amazing. Andrew worked really hard trying his best to get something on the line. Fish just weren’t hitting in that area. I obviously was a little disappointed as was the captain. But it’s called fishing and we are at the mercy of Mother Nature. The bait took a little longer then expected, however Andrew offered to fish longer to make up for it.
