Cpt. Matt reached out the day before our trip to make sure we arrived safely and where to meet. We left on time. Crew hand Bill was there and assisted us. Matt and Bill used downriggers and all we had to do was reel in the walleye. Easy peasy! We caught LOTS of fish. No need to bring equipment. They had everything. Just bring a drink or two. When we got back to the docks, they both cleaned and fillet our fish. They bagged them and we put them on ice in a cooler we had in our vehicle. You don’t need to bring a cooler on the boat. The boat was comfortable. Matt and Bill are personable fellows with a good sense of humor and made sure we were safe and comfortable. They are good people, professional, and friendly. All these characteristics made for a great fishing trip and good memories. Thank you!

My boss and I booked another morning trip, 1 year after our first time with Dog’s Life and this fishing excursion went even better. We were blessed with another sunny, warm and calm day.
By now we felt we knew Matt and our humor and camaraderie clicked and that was important for all the little things to make a memorable day.
We ended up catching our limit in about 1 hour and Matt had all our fish cleaned and we were leaving for home in no time.
We caught all fish with small, Dreamweaver boards and spoons fished at the correct depth. 
Matt had the fish patterned well by this time in August and this won’t be the last time we fish with Dog’s Life Sport Fishing.

Had a wonderful time out with captain Matt it was my girlfriends first on a charter and fishing in Lake Erie got our limit in 2 and half hour the hospitality was excellent definitely recommend to others looking to experience what Lake Erie has to offer as far as fishing because you will absolutely catch some looking forward to returning again an definitely booking this charter

My father and I took a trip to Lake Erie, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience we received with Captain Matt. He took us out further in the lake to catch bigger Walleye, and it paid off.
