Cpt. Matt reached out the day before our trip to make sure we arrived safely and where to meet. We left on time. Crew hand Bill was there and assisted us. Matt and Bill used downriggers and all we had to do was reel in the walleye. Easy peasy! We caught LOTS of fish. No need to bring equipment. They had everything. Just bring a drink or two. When we got back to the docks, they both cleaned and fillet our fish. They bagged them and we put them on ice in a cooler we had in our vehicle. You don’t need to bring a cooler on the boat. The boat was comfortable. Matt and Bill are personable fellows with a good sense of humor and made sure we were safe and comfortable. They are good people, professional, and friendly. All these characteristics made for a great fishing trip and good memories. Thank you!

My boss and I booked another morning trip, 1 year after our first time with Dog’s Life and this fishing excursion went even better. We were blessed with another sunny, warm and calm day.
By now we felt we knew Matt and our humor and camaraderie clicked and that was important for all the little things to make a memorable day.
We ended up catching our limit in about 1 hour and Matt had all our fish cleaned and we were leaving for home in no time.
We caught all fish with small, Dreamweaver boards and spoons fished at the correct depth. 
Matt had the fish patterned well by this time in August and this won’t be the last time we fish with Dog’s Life Sport Fishing.
Looking forward to next year.

Great trip on Lake Erie. Caught our limit of walleye in less than 3 hours on the water.

Captain Matt was fantastic,  put us on fish first thing in the morning and we were catching the entire trip. Great company, the mate was awesome and the fishing was top notch! Will be doing this again!!!

Very rough day on the lake - swells to 8-10 feet and the Coast Guard saying it was going to get worse finally chased us off the water, but Capt Matt showed us a great time. We caught some beautiful walleyes, including a great 7-pounder- the biggest my son ever caught. Would highly recommend this captain to anyone!
