Captain Donald grew up in a fishing family. Together with his wife Andrea, he makes DNA Fishing. This husband-wife team met in Key West, Florida when he was a light tackle guide and she was in the navy. They have guided hunters and fishermen for the last 28 years together. They started fishing together in Key West and then moved to northern Maine and ran a sporting camp for 19 years. They guided moose, bear, and bird hunters as well as fishermen. Capt. Donald and his wife have been fishing Lake Ontario for 16 years. They sold their lodge and bought a charter boat. For them, it's more of a passion than just a business. They often fish tournaments in their spare time. This team enjoys getting clients involved in the setup and whatever else they'd like to learn or try.

    Best trip ever!

    Don and Andrea are extremely knowledgable and funny! The boat is nice, clean and rides smoothly! It did not take long for us to hook some giant kings and laughters are all over the boat. I am really impress d how Dan and Andrea work together to manage the multiple trolling setup. Personally, I own a 17 feet walleye boat and i also like fluke fishing on charter boat. This is the best experience i had.

    The fishing trip exceeded all of our expectations! From start to finish, the captain and crew were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. They made sure we had a great experience and were always there to answer questions and lend a hand. We couldn’t have asked for anything more! It was an awesome day on the water, and we made some great memories. We would definitely recommend this charter to anyone looking for a fantastic fishing experience in Oswego. We can’t wait to come back!

    Best day on the water in 10 years

    6 Hour Trip • 4 adults

    Not only did they put us on fish while it was still dark out, they clearly went above and beyond to make sure we hit our limit and not only gave us the basic information, but then allowed us to handle the rods and the net made it into more of an adventure than just handing us a fishing pole with a fish on the end of the line. It made us work together and we had the best time I would recommend this to people with younger kids or groups looking to catch fish. Either way DNA is the boat to take.

    Great day out. Captains Don and Andrea were top notch!!! Great people to spend a day with!!! The boat was well equipped and extremely comfortable. We limited out on Salmon!! Highly reccomend going fishing with this outfit!!!thank you captains!!!

The salmon fishing is starting to heat up in Oswego. The fish have been spread out but are willing to bite. We have been dealing with some seroius heat, thank goodness for the cooling properties of Lake O. We never suffered until we got back to shore. If your looking to catch some great fish.
