With over 26 years of professional chartering experience, Captain Donald Lavoie and his wife Andrea will do their best to make your day of fishing as fun and enjoyable as possible. They will take you out to Lake Ontario and show you the best spots for landing that prized catch. Feel free to tell them if you have any preferences. They want you to enjoy your trip and be as involved as you want to be.
Your adventure will take place on a 28' Baha Cruiser performance fishing boat that can safely take up to 5 anglers. This boat is powered by a 350 HP Mercury Magnum 6.2 liter engine that can reach cruising speeds of 25 knots. The boat uses extensive navigation electronics, has a portable toilet, and comes with an ice-box and downriggers for all your needs.
You and your guides will be chasing King Salmon, Coho Salmon and Brown Trout on the lake. To attract them, you can try trolling with light tackle, so you know you're in for a battle. The fish you catch is yours to keep if you want it, fish cleaning is available at the dock for a small fee. Be sure to bring a cooler to bring yiur filets home.
The crew will also provide you with all the fishing rods, reels, tackle, and lures for the trip. All you need to do is bring some snacks, drinks, and ensure everyone on board has a fishing license, and you'll be set to go.

The DNA team of Capt Donald and first mate Andrea run a great charter. From the start of the booking they insure timely communications, to being at the dock ready to go as well as working the whole trip to make sure we got on the fish they were great. In addition, thier boat and gear was top notch. Highly recommend this team for a great trip.

Donald and Andrea worked hard to find fish on a challenging day. We could have limited out easily, but decided to head back a little early because of the winds. One of the best charters I have been on. Great crew with the knowledge to put you on the fish.
Never have I lost 5! Fish for no reason. But the boat still landed salmon. Dan and his wife are amazing and know the fish, and was able to achieve the LOC triple crown. Had a fantastic time and enjoyed the trip looking forward to the next one. Highly recommended

This husband-wife team met in Key West, Florida when he was a light tackle guide and she was in the navy. They have guided hunters and fishermen for the last 28 years together. They started fishing together in Key West and then moved to northern Maine and ran a sporting camp for 19 years. They guided moose, bear, and bird hunters as well as fishermen. Capt. Donald and his wife have been fishing Lake Ontario for 16 years. They sold their lodge and bought a charter boat. For them, it's more of a passion than just a business. They often fish tournaments in their spare time. This team enjoys getting clients involved in the setup and whatever else they'd like to learn or try.
