Blessed to have the end of the cold front so that we could still get out.  Still had north wind so it was bad conditions.  Went out to the humps and Watched other sport boats get nothing while we pulled 4 tuna to enjoy eating!
Also pulled out an early season good eating Mahi in the 75 deg water.  ahead of their typical 80+ deg water arrival and season.
Hit a sand bar to pull 2 cuda out for the boys to reel in.
Kevin did a great job with the conditions we were dealt.
We also enjoyed his wife’s olive morada shop.  Highly recommend visiting for some awesome marinades if you cook your own.

Captain Kevin and Erin were fabulous hosts of this fishing charter!  My three boys (ages 9, 10, 12) love to fish but are used to lake fishing.  For our first time fishing in the ocean, the reef charter was perfect.  Both Kevin and Eric were patient, helpful, friendly and encouraging.  They had rods and bait at the ready for the boys - which made my experience awesome too!  We caught a lot of fish the boys aren’t used to catching in Illinois.  We had an absolutely wonderful time and we can’t wait to do it again!

I read a lot of reviews, but I rarely post any. This is one of the exceptions. We booked a 4-hour fishing trip with Captain Kevin for our family. Three kids: 8, 11 and 13 year old. It was by far the best fishing experience that we had as a family. Captain Kevin is a great fisherman, and he is even better dealing with kids. We caught 9 black fin tunas. Captain filleted the fish at the dock, which in itself was a show! There were pelicans, egrets and… a manatee. We absolutely loved it and next time we are in South Florida, we will be taking another fishing adventure with Captain Kevin!

Kevin was an amazing captain and host for our half day trip.  Boat is amazingly clean and rigged up professionally.  He made my 8 year old son feel so welcome ensured he was the focus of the fun! We always had bait cut and ready to throw.  Continued to pull in fish all afternoon and made great filets for dinner.  Will be back soon to head out farther! A+ will use this charter again!

Captain Kevin White and his first mate worked really hard to help us catch fish.  Kevin is very personable, smart, and focused on getting you what you came out for, yes…fish!  He does a good job of finding where the fish are and getting you hooked while making you and your party as comfortable as possible.  We caught the boat limit on tuna (which was our target for the day) and he cleaned them and iced them.  I highly recommend using him; you will not be disappointed.
