2 - guys from Jax. aboard the Jettywolf ll today. Morning started slow, it was high tide. And had a hard SW wind. Fishing jig-n-shrimp combo meals on light spinners. But as the tide fall, my guys got on a dozen Redfish. All small puppers as I call them. The creeks are full of them in the heat of the summer. Also picking up a Speckled Trout that was just under-sized. And a nice fat 12 inch Mangrove snapper, and 5 Black Drum (in photos), in which 2 were keepers and hit the ice along with the Mangrove Snapper. A lot of under slot fish this time of year, but the action was fast as long as that tide ran. It was comfortable, not to hot with all the wind. Yep, each day stands alone this time of year. We all had fun, and loads of laughs.

DAY #1: MY LONGEST CUSTOMER. BEEN TAKING BOB SEVERAL TIMES A YEAR, FOR AT LEAST 18 YEARS. (LONGER THAN MOST ON THIS SITE HAVE BEEN CHARTER FISHING.) ONE OF SEVERAL REDFISH CAUGHT IN A SHALLOW MARSH CREEK. ALWAYS LOOKING FOR KEEPER SIZE. AND YES, BOB GOT HIS, AND THEY WERE ''BLACKENED REDFISH'' ON OUR DINNER PLATE, 3 HOURS LATER! MAX 2 PERSON, UP TO 6 HR. DAY.

RIGGED WITH THE BEST TROLLING MOTOR MADE TODAY, IT HAS A 36V POWER POLE MOVE PV. FOR SILENT FISHING. AND TO GET THERE IT'S RIGGED WITH A SUZUKI 90, AND A ATLAS JACK PLATE. THE SIDE CONSOLE SPORTS A 7'' GARMIN ECHO MAP SOUNDER/PLOTTER/GPS. WITH LOADS OF STABLE DECK ROOM FOR 2 PERSONS. THIS BOAT HAS BEEN IN THE PLANNING FOR ABOUT 5 YEARS, AND IN NOVEMBER OF 2024, I MADE IT HAPPEN. IT'S A BIG CHANGE UP FROM THE PAST 26' JETTY?WOLF BOAT, THAT WAS A ROUGH WATER BEAST, AND COULD HANDLE THE SLOP AND CHOP WITH EASE AT THE INLET. THAT I RAN FOR 20 YRS. BUT WAS LIMITED TO DEEPER WATER, AND COULDN'T SPORT A TROLLING MOTOR VERY EASILY. I'VE DOWN-SIZED TO 2 PERSON CHARTERS ONLY. AFTER 28 YRS. I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF PEOPLE MANAGEMENT STYLE TRIPS, AND NOW AFTER ALL THESE YEARS WANT TO RUN CALMER WATER TRIPS, WITH 2 QUALITY ANGLERS ONLY. SO GET WITH ME, IN JAX FLORIDA 7 DAYS A WEEK.
