On this charter you're likely to go after Redfish, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Jack Crevalle, Weakfish, and more.
On calm waters.
During the trip you will be light tackle fishing, bottom fishing, or techniques more specialized in this area.
Your success is based on your capabilities, and fishing experience, of course. Capt Dave can't hook them for you.
YOU MUST BE MOBILE, able to stand, and cast spinning tackle from the bow deck of the boat, if needed. This is not the kind of fishing accomplished while sitting in a lawn chair. More experience, could lead to more success.
Capt. Dave runs a custom built 2025, 20' shallow draft Bay boat, with plenty of room for 2 persons to fish comfortably and safely. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.
Capt. Dave will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures, sometimes. Live & dead bait, such as Shrimp is carried on each trip.
2 passengers only. Children 12 and older only.
BRING NO COOLER ON BOARD THE BOAT. Coolers & Ice are provided.
DO NOT BRING BACKPACKS,DUFFLE BAGS or unnecessary items.
BRING A SIMPLE SNACK AND DRINKS IN A PLASTIC BAG ONLY.
DO NOT BRING ANY GLASS.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind Capt. Dave is not incharge of fish limits, size limits, and weather. .
You can keep what is allowed for cleaning on a 'Gratuity Basis', when you charter is over.
Only soft soled shoes such as sneakers should be worn, and bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. **Save the alcohol'' for back at the dock celebrating.
