- My name is Dalton "Buddy" Deaver, II, the owner and Captain of Play Money Charters, LLC. I am married to my best friend and wife Janie and together we have two incredible sons, Dekota and Dawson. We enjoy being on the water and fishing as a family. Fishing is one of my favorite past times. Growing up in Morehead City, NC, and returning to visit family and friends when I moved to Kinston, NC, I cannot remember a time when I didn't have a rod and reel in my hand. My dad invested in me at a young age, which gave me the passion I have for fishing today. I bought my first boat when I was 17 and it didn’t stop there.
