  Half Day Trip – Late Morning on September 10, 2026 • 2 adults

  My brother and I have never fished the ocean before other than surf fishing. We booked the 11:30-4:00 trip with Captain Jason Snead. Jason showed us the basics of what to do for the 1st catch and my brother and I had no problem doing all the tasks ourselves while Jason drove the boat. We caught about 30 fish mixed between spanish maceral and blue fish which kept us busy for the first 2 hours. After that died off, we went for flounder but didn't have much luck. The boat would be cramped with more than 2 people. Expect to get a little wet. Jason was great company and I'd book again with him. Thanks!

  Exactly what the doctor ordered

  Half Day Trip – Afternoon on October 1, 2026 • 2 adults

  Me and my dad did a halfday fishing trip and Captain Jason helped make it great. The fishing was fun, nothing big was biting but the rods were still being put to work with smaller fish that were still a blast to reel in. It was nice feeling like my technique was getting better and having the captain and the fish confirm that. We would definitly use Jason again and will recommend him to anyone we know coming down.

  Persistence Paid Off!

  Half Day Trip – Early Morning on September 30, 2026 • 2 adults

  Captain Jason came up with a winning strategy to give me and my son a great first chartered fishing experience! He is laid back, allowed us to be involved in a risky decision to go out of the way to find fish late in our trip, and it paid off! Doubles on Trout, Blues, and a chance to sight fish for Red Drum made for a great day of fishing in the Oregon Inlet! Excellent job Captain Jason we’ll be back!

  Cap'n Jason was knowledgeable and a great resource for a very successful trip on choppy water. It was everything I was hoping it would be for teenage nephews Gavin and Jake who managed to land several large reds and blues. The boat, although basic in layout, was quite roomy and comfortable to fish from. I recommend Cap'n Jason Snead's inshore service.

  Jason was an awesome Captain! His knowledge of the water and technique fishing was second to none! We came away with some great catches of which my wife was overjoyed and has been talking nonstop of the experience. If you see his charter available on the day you wish to book, don’t walk RUN to his charter! Thank you Jason!
