My wife and I went out with JD for the second time, and had an absolute blast. I can’t say enough about this captain. You can tell he really just loves fishing. Super easy going and down to earth. Captain JD was great.  We booked a 6 hour tour and he was on time and ready to go when we arrived. JD knew where to go to find the fish.  We trolled for Spanish Mackrel and caught a bunch.  We then transitioned to fishing off the bottom and caught a variety of grouper, snapper and even a couple sharks. This trip is highly recommended, I booked a 4 hr trip with Capt J.D for me, my brother and 2 grandsons (11 and 16 yrs old) they have caught fish before and we all enjoy fishing. They had only caught fish in lakes and the bay, never near shore or offshore. The capt is highly skilled and made sure we had a great day, we caught a few large mackerel and learned a lot about the sea along the way. We also spotted dolphins a and large turtle.

We had a bit of rougher weather for our ur offshore fishing trip. Wave were 2-3 footers which bounced us around. Had some rain as well. Fishing was lively but we caught a variety and kept several including some nice grunts and a Spanish mackerel. But all the storms and rain last couple days caused the fishing to be slower.
