We had an amazing fishing trip with Captain J.D.! He put us on fish all day and we caught a ton. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable about the local fishing spots and conditions, but he's also a great person who genuinely wants his guests to have the best experience possible. Captain J.D. worked hard to make sure we were having a great time from start to finish, and he even cleaned all of our fish afterward, which was greatly appreciated. His professionalism, expertise, and friendly attitude made this one of the best fishing trips we've ever been on. I would highly recommend Captain J.D. to anyone looking for a fantastic fishing experience. We'll definitely be booking another trip the next time we're in town!

Had an incredible charter experience in the Gulf of Mexico. We were on fish all day and brought in an awesome mix – kingfish, lemon shark, grouper, red snapper, porgies, and several other assorted species. The action stayed steady and made for a memorable trip. One of the highlights was seeing porpoises swimming right alongside the boat, which made the experience even more special. Captain JD was outstanding – knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely a great human being. He made sure I was comfortable, having fun, and put me in the best position possible to catch fish. Overall I really enjoyed myself and would absolutely recommend this charter to anyone looking for a great day on the water. Can’t wait to go again.

We caught grouper, red and gray snapper, and squirrelfish. We kept the snapper and will have a feast! Captain J.D. was a joy to fish with. He kept everyone's poles baited and in the water. There's a toilet and fridge on board and comfortable seating. The boat is new and in great condition. Captain J.D. is very knowledgeable about the water, sea life, and Longboat Key. Just a really friendly guy. If we come back to this area, we will definitely fish with him again.

great day w J! fishing was slow in the am but he kept working and put us on some nice sea trout! we also caught spanish mackerel, one catfish & a lady fish. J was super patient and fun to be with. Highly recommend him for your outing.

We couldn’t be more satisfied with our trip. Captain JD has years of experience and put us right on the fish. He is very laid back and patient. We would recommend chartering with Captain JD whether you are an experienced or inexperienced fisherman. We came home with an abundance of fish to cook! Thank you Captain JD! Just a great day out fishing all around. We caught Grouper, Snapper, Mackerel and more! Very comfortable boat. Fishing guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend!

Was a great time. JD definitely knows the spots! Was a great mellow morning. Went with my 13 year old daughter who had a great time too. Lots of grouper, snappers, a ladyfish, and others too. Missed some Spanish Mackerels, but thats how the cards fell. Will be back next year!

We caught the biggest Speckled Trout I have ever seen. One was 25 inches! Kids were super happy. We hunted Reds and Snook but the tide went slack on us. Not JD's fault we hit some really fishy spots! Would book again for sure. Great with the kids as well

I took my wife and son out with Captain JD for a 6 hour fishing excursion and we had the most memorable day on the water anyone could ssk for. It was a tremendous blessing for us to spend this time together and make a memory we will all remember the rest of our lives. Thank you JD for all your hard work to ensure we had a good time. he accomodated us any way he could, kept us on fish, and was knowledgeable and moved when needed to keep us fishing. would recommend to snybody serious about fishing, and we are planning to use him in the future.
