Expect to use techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, drift fishing, jigging, and spinning, based on the species you're targeting. Speaking of which, you have the option of 4 to 8-hour trips, where you'll be fishing for the likes of Cobia, Cero Mackerel, Bonito, Spanish Mackerel, Groupers, and Snappers, depending on the specific season and the day's weather.

Your adventure begins on board a 24' Aquasport boat that can fit a maximum of 4 anglers. The boat is fitted with a toilet and an ice-box. All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip. All that's up to you is to use it as best you can.

When it comes to fishing licenses, everything will be taken care of by the captain so you don't have to worry about it. You're welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip.

Can’t wait to go again

Had an incredible charter experience in the Gulf of Mexico. We were on fish all day and brought in an awesome mix – kingfish, lemon shark, grouper, red snapper, porgies, and several other assorted species. The action stayed steady and made for a memorable trip. 

One of the highlights was seeing porpoises swimming right alongside the boat, which made the experience even more special. Captain JD was outstanding – knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely a great human being. He made sure I was comfortable, having fun, and put me in the best position possible to catch fish. 

Overall I really enjoyed myself and would absolutely recommend this charter to anyone looking for a great day on the water.  Can’t wait to go again.

Awesome trip!

We couldn’t be more satisfied with our trip. Captain JD has years of experience and put us right on the fish. He is very laid back and patient. We would recommend chartering with Captain JD whether you are an experienced or inexperienced fisherman. We came home with an abundance of fish to cook! Thank you Captain JD! It was a phenomenal fishing trip!

We had an unforgettable day deep sea fishing! We caught plenty of snappers and groupers, plus a Spanish mackerel, squirrel fish, and even a triggerfish. Along the way, we were treated to amazing sights — dolphins swimming nearby, a graceful sea turtle, crabs, and even squid.

Captain J.D. was outstanding — so patient and accommodating, especially with our 12- and 14-year-old boys. He made sure everyone was comfortable, safe, and having fun the entire trip.

We highly recommend this charter to anyone looking for a fun and memorable adventure on the water. We’ll definitely be booking again!

. Monster Speckled Trout

We caught the biggest Speckled Trout I have ever seen. One was 25 inches! Kids were super happy. We hunted Reds and Snook but the tide went slack on us. Not JD's fault we hit some really fishy spots! Would book again for sure. Great with the kids as well

We had a great trip today. JD really knows what he’s doing and had us on fish right away. He made good calls throughout the trip and kept us in productive water. Everything was smooth, organized, and easy from start to finish.

It was an all-around solid day on the water, and we’re already looking forward to booking another trip with him. Highly recommend.
