I’ve been on a few charters before and I can honestly say, I could catch 100 keepers on a charter but if the captain isn’t engaging, acts like they know it all, or makes you feel stupid then I would rather go on a charter where we don’t catch anything! Captain Mike is absolutely awesome! He made the trip. He was super relaxed while also informative and patient as well as willing to teach you whether a beginner or experienced. Captain Mike made of feel less like we were being told how to fish and more like a friend was taking us fishing. We had an excellent time. As an experienced fisherman, no one can guarantee you catch fish. However, with Captain Mike, I CAN guarantee you’ll have great time. (And you’ll probably still catch fish).

Captain Mike was awesome. He took us out to catch some bigger fish while the tide was right. Hooked into 2 big fish that ended up coming off. No fault of captain. Just part of fishing. After the early bite was over he took us to catch sheepshead. Had a great time. Mike was very patient with us especially with my 8 year old daughter. He would catch a fish and let her reel it in. Highly recommend Mike if you want to go out and catch fish. Thanks for great time and taking extra time to help my little girl catch fish.

Captain Mike was very friendly from the start and that lasted all day.
Conditions were less than ideal as far as wind but he kept us where we were comfortable and worked his tail off to put us on fish.
I’ve worked on boats my entire life, bottom fishing, oystering, shrimping, oilfield, party boat, and charter fishing. I feel like I got what I paid for.
I would recommend Capt. Mike and if we come to Charleston again, I would go with him again.

From start to finish, Captain Mike is outstanding! We were blessed with great weather, calm seas, and some seriously good fighting fish. Captain Mike had us on some great spots and the bites were plenty! He truly shares in the excitement with you and Is very encouraging and patient in teaching techniques for the less experienced anglers!
This was my first time ever catching fish this large in size and within seconds Captain Mike had me fitted with the techniques that would eventually land this fish into the boat. I had no idea fish were this exhausting but Captain Mike had my back the whole time and cheered me on as this one fish was kicking my butt. It was an epic battle where the fish was determined not be caught but we were determined it would be. I was convinced I was going overboard had it not been for Captain holding me in. The excitement was off the charts! The team work was outstanding! We landed this bad boy in the boat, high fives all around, and I was flat out exhausted!! We laughed so hard! My first and biggest catch of the amberjack species was a huge success.
This is hands down the absolute best Captain we have ever had the pleasure of fishing with. He truly delivered a top notch flawless charter experience.
  Equipment is in excellent condition and very well maintained. Boat is clean, spacious, and comfortable. Captain is an excellent communicator and arrived at the dock early and ready. We were able to climb on board and push off within seconds, giving us the ability to take full advantage of our time out at sea.
All the poles were ready to go so when we got to the spot we were able to jump right in and let them fly. Captain cleaned and bagged fish for us.
We cannot wait to go again with Captain Mike. He is that amazing and the experience was that perfect!

Capt. Mike made the trip. It was my first time fishing for Sheepshead fish so I was nervous. Explained every detail from what bait we would be using to the actual location we were fish near. He took the time to explain the two forts we pass along the way (Moultrie and Sumpter) and the stone wall we fished along. I’ll say it again, Capt. Mike made the trip. Oh yeah, we could fish too.
