I was born and raised on Bonaire, and I was fishing since I was a child. I learned most of my skills from seasoned, local fishermen. Worked on a lot of boats first as a deckhand and slowly made a career in commercial sport fishing. This is my first privately owned boat, and I decided to pursue my biggest passion. I invite you to join me on this exciting adventure, and I can teach you some unique local fishing techniques and make sure that fish gets in the boat!

    Amazing Fishing Trip - Will Repeat

    6-hour AM Trip • 2 adults

    We caught 2 yellowfin tuna, 18 blackfin tuna, 3 Skipjack Tuna, and one good size Wahoo. We were catching so many fish, that the captain (Orlando) threw the SkipJack Tuna at another boat to keep them away. Seriously, he shared the SkipJack Tuna with another boat because they are great bait and we had plenty of fish. Will come again and for this boat (which is fast) and Captain Orlando because he was great to keep us in fish and fun to be with!

    Unbelievable trip with Captain Jordan and Mako Tours

    6-hour AM Trip • 5 adults

    We could not have had a better time with Captain Jordan. We set out early and began with jigging for Tuna. Nearly every drop we were pulling up a Tuna, totaling probably 20 within the first hour. Then, Jordan showed us a variety of different fishing techniques, and we were constantly having success. The highlight was catching a 7FT BLUE MARLIN. The fish of a lifetime and we could not be more thankful for Jordan and his immense knowledge of this island and fishing!! We also had a group of 5, all with varying levels of fishing skills. Jordan understood our limitations and made sure to tailor the experience to our needs! He filleted our fish after getting back to the dock and we have been enjoying sushi and sashimi all week. We had such a great time we booked a second trip! Thank you Jordan for an amazing experience!

    A GREAT day with Captain Jordan

    If you are looking for a great captain that will put you on high-quality fish, choose Captain Jordan, and Mako Tours. Captain Jordan is an absolute pro. He has a deep understanding of the local environment and of the fish you hope to be landing. There were three people in our party and we went home with more than enough Yellowfin tuna and wahoo. A GREAT day of fishing. Six thumbs up from some very satisfied customers!!

    it was a very windy day and made for tough fishing. Our captain showed us multiple fishing techniques but the fish werent cooperating. we’ll be back

    Right from the start Jordan had us catching some tuna! Then we tried a couple different fish catching techniques that I’m sure not many other captains would attempt to do. Would recommend anyone that gets the chance to go on a trip with him! What an unforgettable experience!

    I had an amazing fishing experience with Mako Tours on Bonaire! Jordan was super friendly, professional, and really knew where to find the fish. We caught several great fish and the action was nonstop. The boat was clean, well equipped, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. It was the best guided trip I’ve ever had — highly recommended to anyone visiting Bonaire who wants a fun and successful day on the water!

    Captain Jordan was hands down the best fisherman ever, not only did we catch tons of tuna but he actually works HARD to get you fish and lets you do it too but will take over if he needs to. He was so patient and nice and his boat is so nice and fast. We had the best time, if available to you, i recommend starting before 5:00am to do some out of this world dark sea fishing before the sun comes up! Thank you Captain Jordan!

    We enjoyed fishing with captain Jordan. He has great energy and is friendly. Trolling for wahoo with a hand line like tge local fisherman do was a great experience for me and my daughter. Who each caught a large wahoo. We caught 2- wahoo 1- black horse eyed jack 4- Queen Snapper

    Capt Jordan is a very accomplished fisherman, extremely knowledgeable, with a great attitude and excellent work ethic! We went a few miles off the South side early in the morning. He used several different techniques throughout the trip, jigging, handlines, and popping/jerkbaits. Caught about 20 fish total with three 3-4’ yellowfin Tunas. Incredible experience. Recommended Dramamine for motion sickness. It is a workout! Highly Recommend the adventure! I enjoyed the personal stories that Capt Jordan shared.

    Jordon is the best captain, had a great time and caught some big fish! Would highly recommend this to anyone that loves to fish. Would definitely do it again if we had time before the end of our trip.
