Background: I have to credit my dad for helping me discover my love for fishing at a very young age. My dad would take me to the beach and we would seine for glass minnows when I was barely old enough to wade into the surf. Fast forward to my teenage years and it was my dad who introduced me to the Outer Banks. My first offshore fishing trip was with Rom Whitaker during his first year as a captain at Hatteras Harbor. He made a big impression on me and encouraged me to take my own small boat out to the Gulf Stream, that's how I got started.

Great day fishing with Capt. Hank. Caught a lot of fish, no stress, very relaxing. He is very knowledgeable about the area and always does what he can to make sure everyone is having a great trip. The trip was like you were fishing with an old friend. Definitely recommend

We had an amazingly fun time with our captain. He was knowledgeable and fun to talk to. Waters were rough due to an incoming storm, but it didn’t deter us at all. Would recommend booking to anyone looking for a fun time fishing.

Hank is awesome! He’s knowledgeable and nice. Will do as much or as little as you want him to. Unfortunately we had bad conditions so we didn’t catch much, but still caught a few fish. Would highly recommend him to anyone!

My husband and I had such a positive experience fishing with Captain Hank! Not only is his passion for sport fishing inspiring but he’s also extremely knowledgeable. We learned so much and ended the day with some great fish fighting stories to share for years to come!
