I am a licensed United States, Coast Guard, 100-ton master captain. I am also a licensed FAA airplane and helicopter pilot. I've been featured in 27 national and international magazines throughout my fishing career. On July 17, 1977, I landed the largest Mako Shark ever to be caught in the United States, she weighed 1039 lb. On August 10, 2003, on a homemade lure, I caught the third-largest Striped Bass ever to be caught in the world.

    Great day at sea...

    3/4 Day Trip • 4 adults

    I hired Captain Jimmy for my grandson's graduation present. What an amazing fisherman we discovered! We werfe pulling up fish within 3 minutes of getting our lines in the water and the action went on all day! He brought along his labrador named Jimel, and she was loves to fish! We caught fish on wrecks and trolling. He has been written about in at least a dozen fishing periodicals, and shared many amazing photos of his career highlights. If you want a top-of-the- line experience that everyone in your party will enjoy and remember, take a trip with Captain Jimmy; you wont regre it!

    We had a great time!!

    Full Day Trip • 4 adults

    What a blast!! The Captain was very flexable and very personable. The first day we booked was not looking to be great weather so the Captain contacted several days in advance and was willing to reschedule for a nicer day. He also was flexable about when we arrived to fish (we opted for 6 am). We caught some huge Red Snapper! We did have to release them because it wasn’t in season but we are definitely hoping to return and fish again when they are in season! My husband caught a nice size Cobia. My brother caught and released a gorgeous strawberry grouper.
