Captain Jason did what he could to try and get everyone in my family onto a fish. Not an easy task this day, since mother nature wasn’t at her best today. But by the end of it, we all caught a fish. Overall it was a fun trip, few fish, a few pictures, and a few laughs. Jason and Randy were great guys, nice equipment, and a professionaly kept boat. I hope to come down and get in the boat again some day. Thanks fellas, a highlight of our vacation.

When I was looking for a “family friendly” guide for my son’s first saltwater fishing trip, I came across ShayJay. I am so glad we booked with him. Jason and his Dad, Randy made sure my son’s hook always had bait on it and put him on fish. My son really wanted to go offshore but old man winter started blowing so we had to relocate inshore. No problem for Jason! As soon as we got in calmer water, BAM! Fish on. Will definitely book with ShayJay again later this year.

Jason was awesome with everything for the trip. They did a great job keeping my two boys baited and in the water and had us on-top of fish for the majority of the day. My two boys had a great time fishing. This trip was everything I hoped it would be for my boys and me.  Boat was comfortable to ride in and fishing equipment was perfect for the fish we were chasing. We booked a last minute 4 hour trip for my wife’s birthday. We hooked a few fish in the port then made our way a little further out and brought in a few hammerhead sharks. We had a blast and the crew worked very hard to get some fish on the boat.

Jason and Randy were awesome. Right away they asked Donovan what he would like to catch and he stated Mahi-Mahi and right away they were up for the challenge. They treated Donovan like a king and didn’t even get upset when he got the 5 to 6 feet Wahoo to the edge of the boat and the 80 pound line snapped and he was gone.
