Our 22' Bulls Bay accommodates up to 4 anglers, giving your group a personal experience without a crowded boat. Rods, reels, tackle, lures, licenses, permits, live bait when available, ice, water, and catch cleaning and filleting are included.

We had a wonderful time. The captain was very kind, attentive, and helpful. He also responded promptly to all my questions before I made the booking. We would definitely recommend this experience!

6 Hour Trip – Offshore on July 29, 2026 • 3 adultsMy husband & I took our 18yr old son on an Offshore fishing charter with Jason and his father, on ShayJay Charters. They were excellent fisherman. They knew right where to take us so that my son could have an incredible experience. We caught 2 huge King Mackerel, 3 barracudas, 1 large Spade/Angel fish and 3 tiny Sea Bass. It was so much fun. We only kept the Mackerel and they cleaned and bagged them for us then told us of a restaurant down the street that perfectly cooked it up for us. We has such a great time. We would Highly Recommend them to anyone and everyone.

3-Hour trip inshore/jetty - 7:00 AM on January 6, 2026 • 3 adults • 1 childMy wife, eight year old son and I did a three hour guided trip with Jason. His father also tagged along and both were excellent guides. My son had a blast and wound up catching 15 fish from five different species. My wife and I both caught over ten fish each. We also saw the return of a Space X booster rocket, saw several dolphin swim by and even saw a sea turtle. It was a great trip and we would highly recommend Jason if you are considering a fishing trip to the Cape.

I went on this fishing trip with my son and had an awesome experience with Captain Jason and his first mate Randy, who is also his dad. It made for a really cool father-son, father-son trip that we both really enjoyed. We booked the charter specifically to go after sharks. Even though we didn’t end up landing one, Captain Jason worked incredibly hard the entire trip moving us between multiple spots and trying different approaches to get us on fish. Sometimes the fish just aren’t cooperating, but you could clearly see the effort and dedication he put in to make sure we had every possible chance. Both Captain Jason and Randy were friendly, knowledgeable, and great to spend time with on the water. You can tell they genuinely care about giving people a good experience. It was a great father-son team and they made the trip fun and memorable for me and my son. I would absolutely book another charter with them again and look forward to coming back to try for those sharks another day. Highly recommend!
Jason was a great captain! He baited and casted my line 95% of the time as im not an experienced fisher. Wish my Dad and i would have caught more fish, but we still had a great time! The only thing is that my dad and I thought we were doing “near shore” fishing meaning the ocean shoreline, not the port shoreline. As the website read they go up to 5 miles off shore. That’s why we took a 6 hour trip because we thought it would give us more time to fish in different places in the ocean. And that was not the case. We prepared to fish for bigger fish one finds in the ocean, yet since we were in the port, the majority of fish were small. A bit disappointing but I guess I should have confirmed this upon booking. Just note to those looking to book, confirm all of this before you book your trip. all in all it was a nice day, and as mentioned, Jason was great!
Thank you for your review. I really appreciate it and I understand your concerns about being able to get out but if you noticed yesterday, it was really windy and it would’ve been really rough to even go out of the port it would’ve made for a very uncomfortable fishing experience
Captain Jay is not only a great captain and first mate all wrapped into 1 (he often has his dad with him as his helper, but he was solo on my trip with my son), he’s just a genuinely great person. We had a great time fishing many different spots around the jetty. Plenty of poles ready and endless live bait. We will be back for sure.

I was born and raised in Florida my entire life with most of that time being in Orlando/cape canaveral. At the age of 5 my dad started taking me offshore with him and I have never looked back since! By the time I was 16, I was taking the boat out by myself and coming back with loads of fish! Since then I have spent countless hours researching and trying new ways to put fish in the boat consistently. There is nothing I enjoy more then watching people catch fish and sharing my true passion with them. I may not be able guarantee boat loads of fish every trip but I can guarantee that I will do everything in my power to make sure that everyone on the boat has a good time!

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 30% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
