                - Background
 - I've been fishing the big lake for Salmon and Trout since I was 4 years old, cutting my teeth on spring Brown Trout in a 14' motorboat with my Dad. We eventually got a little bigger boat outfitted with offshore equipment, and by age 12 there wasn't anything I couldn't do on the boat. At age 14 I got my first job as a mate on a charter boat, and from that point on, all I wanted to be was a Lake Ontario charter boat captain.
 - Techniques
 - First, fishing is suppose to be fun, and that's what is really important to me when you fish with me. I like to have a good time when on the water. I'm a light line fisherman, and grew up fishing lighter tackle on big kings. I have put several fish in the boat over 30lbs that were caught on 10lb test mono. During the spring I can run most of my gear with light tackle, however as we transition into the summer fishery some of my gear gets beefed up, dipsies and copper rods. But, I stick to a light line set up on my downriggers.
