Explore the open waters of Lake Ontario with Jolly Sportfishing, and have the time of your life! Captain Chris Jolliff has been fishing the lake since he was a kid, so with a lifetime of experience, he’ll make sure you have a successful trip.

You will be fishing aboard the Small Fortune, a 26’ Baha Cruiser cuddy cabin boat. The boat is equipped with top quality navigational electronics, and features two electric reels, three downriggers, and rod holders. The boat’s comfortable, stable ride and ability to find fish will make your adventure memorable.

Fishing out of Sandy Creek, Capt. Chris targets King Salmon, Brown Trout, and Steelhead (Rainbow Trout). The species targeted depend on the season. Brown Trout is predominant in early Spring, and Kings and Steelhead from May until the end of the season.

This full-service charter runs seasonally, starting at the beginning of April and fishing through the spring and summer until approximately mid-October. At the height of the summer, the fishing can take place up to 12–13 miles into the lake, while during the Spring and Fall the fish are found closer to the shore.

All levels of anglers are welcome on board. Capt. Chris particularly enjoys teaching children how to fish, supplying life vests that are comfortable for them. While he promotes catch and release he is happy for you to keep some of your catch and will clean and bag it for you to take home.
