- Pepe’s Fleet is owned and operated by José Antonio Cuevas Molina. José, or “Pepe,” is a second generation Mazatlán sport fishing charter operator and has 47 years of experience fishing in the Pacific offshore waters. The fleet features several boats, including super pangas and cabin cruisers, all fitted with full safety gear and professional sportfishing equipment.
- Techniques
- We go fishing about 23 to 25 miles looking for blue water and targeting Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin ,Sailfish, and Mako Sharks. We use live bait with 'bonitos' and Ballyhoo sometimes as well as a 60 lbs test line. For bottom fishing, we go for sunk boats to a place we call Marmol about 16 to 18 miles north of Mazatlan where we catch a Red Snapper, Orange Snapper Yellowtail, and more.
