My husband was a bit of a grump before his recent milestone birthday, but he’s been all smiles ever since our birthday fishing trip! Before we left, Captain Dave clarified our goals for the trip. I said I just had one - for my husband to have a great time. Captain Dave made sure that happened, and I had fun too. We caught “a mess of fish,” which were beautifully cleaned and packaged after we returned. Captain Dave even rearranged some details to make sure that we made it back to our hotel in time for our late check-out. It was a beautiful, memorable day on the water, and we hope to fish with Captain Dave again soon.

Captain Dave was a phenomenal captain. We were on fish from the get go. Due to weather we were able to do a 2 day trip in 1 day and the fishing was phenomenal. Captain was knowledgeable and a very good guide. This was a trip for my son’s college graduation a time that I will cherish forever and Captain Dave didn’t disappoint. Thank you for the memories we’ll definitely be returning.

Captain David delivered another great trip.  This is our second trip with Lazee Daze Charters.  The first time was my first experience inshore fishing.  Captain David was patient and showed me different techniques for fishing for different species.  This time, we requested a fun catch and release trip.  There were 4 of us on the trip, but only two that were fishing.  He ensured that we stayed on the fish and we caught a lot (~100).  After we got on the boat and started fishing, we commented that it would be exciting to catch a shark and Captain David was able to set it up and both got to catch a shark.  I commented that I would like for our son to catch some of the other species and he again ensured that we got what we asked for.  We caught trout, sheepshead, red fish, and a black drum.  We even caught some things that I don’t think he was aiming for like lady fish, a needlefish (I think that was what it was called), couple different types of small catfish, and a very large crab that refused to let go of my bait 😁. We had a wonderful time that we will all remember for years to come.  We are already planning our next trip out with Captain David on Lazee Daze Charters.

Captain David was absolutely wonderful!!! He was super friendly and truly cared about our family having the most wonderful and unforgettable fishing adventure. He was terrific with my husband and myself; however, if you have small children this man is the way to go. He was amazing with our 8 year old son. He taught him so much about the sport of fishing and was so patient and kind with him. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip. I would recommend Captain David to anyone wanting a fun, laid back fishing adventure!!! And if you have small children that are just learning the sport of fishing, He will leave them with new skills and a love for the sport. Truly wonderful and awesome trip!!!!! Absolutely amazing person!!!! Will not even consider ever chartering with anyone else!!!!

Had a great time with Captain Dave on a morning out with my family! Captain Dave was great with showing my wife and kids (all of them novice anglers) how to inshore fish. The Captain put us on the fish and did not hesitate to move locations if we weren’t getting any action. Once we found a couple of spots we went to town on trout and caught a red, very few hardheads and gafftops. Captain Dave was a great guide and we will definitely be booking him for our next trip to BSL! Thanks again Captain Dave for the wonderful memories!
