My wife Cindy and I had the great pleasure of spending a gorgeous day on the Islamorada area water with the wonderful Captain Mark Koziatek.  We had the best time!
Captain Mark is happy, energetic, easy going, laid back, hard working and simply a joy to be around.  And we caught a ton of fish!  Captain Mark is clearly a veteran fishing guide, and he reads his clients well.  While we were hauling in a bunch of mangrove snappers he handed me his fly rod, knowing I enjoy that also, and I proceeded to catch several blue runners and other fish.  But the highlight was a huge Nassau Grouper Captain Mark spotted feeding on the bottom and coached my live shrimp into easy striking distance. For over 30 years I have fished all over North America, the Caribbean, and even South America and Captain Mark really stands out as a supremely nice guy, super fun to be around, and an expert fishing guide.  We will definitely be going back to fish with my new friend Captain Mark!

We had a wonderful 4 hour trip with Mark in late February and were very fortunate with the weather as it blew the day before and rained and blew the day after.  Our weather was sunny with doable wind and pleasant temps. We caught 7 species of fish and a load of Yellowtail Snapper that were just barely not legal which was not helping our attempt to catch dinner. Mark could not have tried harder to make that happen, as we fished 4 different spots and tried various lures, bait, etc. We had about 20 minutes left at the last spot and I caught a really nice Mutton Snapper that was to become our dinner so mission accomplished.

My wife could not have been happier with the guidance and instruction Mark provided and thought he was very helpful and interesting to talk to. The 4 hours flew by and she caught more fish than I did but I saved face by catching the big one!  We would definitely book with Mark again and highly recommend Midnight Fly Charters.

We had a great experience with Capt Mark from start to returning to the dock.  Two of us.  1/2 Day (we were leaving on Aunday, wish we could have done a full day or a night fish).  Great coaching, knew the area, equipment, fish types, well.  Was able to adjust for the weather (wind gusts) well. 

And for a 1/2 day we both caught our fair share of fish, some good fights reeling in, and had a great experience.  Highly recommend!

The captain is amazing with kids and teenagers. He was patient and coached the boys with positivety and praise. He is not just a great fisherman but a teacher as well. Both boys got to hook into sharks and experience night fishing. Thanks again captain.

What an amazing day! I am not sure who was more excited me, the kids, or the captain?? He is so passionate about fishing and that makes all the difference. He made sure we knew what we were doing, so patient with the 6 year old and my 13 year old had a day he will not forget!!! If you want to deep sea fish Captain Mark is THE MAN!!! Thank you so much I really have never had a better charter!
