Come on aboard with Capt. Mark, whose main priority is to get you on some fish. Expect to use techniques like light tackle, fly fishing, popping, and spinning, based on the species you're targeting. You'll mainly be fishing for the likes of Snapper, Snook, Tarpon, Permit, Barracuda, Jack Crevalle, and Tripletail, depending on the specific season and the day's weather.
You'll be fishing from a 21' Cobia boat with enough room for up to 3 anglers at any single time. It also includes an ice box, wireless trolling motor. All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip. All that's up to you is to use it as best you can.
The captain will also supply all the needed fishing licenses for your trip. You're welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip.

Captain Mark was so fun and knowledgeable about what we were seeing and experiencing. He knew what he was doing with moving us around to get some great bites and catches. We caught Yellowtail snappers. We caught a parrotfish and a Filefish!! it was the first time we went deep sea fishing and it did not disappoint at all. Captain Mark was also fast to get our lines back in the water for a new cast. Would definitely go again when the time is right!!

Captain Mark was awesome! We had a great experience fishing the flats and mangrove areas with our 9 & 11 year old kids. Our 9 year old angler was not feeling his best and Captain Mark was very accommodating and had a great laid back approach. He took us to multiple spots and we all caught a number of fish which really made for a great experience for all. I would definitely recommend a 4-hour trip as we had an awesome time and would definitely recommend Captain Mark and book with him again next time we’re in town.
We had such a great time with Captain Mark!! He was so knowledgeable and patient and put us on some excellent fish! We definitely left the boat better fishermen than we were when we boarded. We will be booking again for sure
Captain Mark was the best! He was so helpful with our two boys— ages 7 and 4.5. He was very patient and really was committed to showing them a great time. We caught so many fish and also 3 sharks! He made the experience fun and relaxing. This is the trip you want if you have younger kids— especially ones like ours who don’t have any experience fishing other than in small Michigan lakes.
Captain Mark was great and really knew the places to go. We tried for Tarpon in the flats and unfortunately didn’t land one but we caught a bunch of snapper and one shark. Mark was really flexible with out timing and we stayed a bit over time trying to land a Tarpon that was toying with us.

Captain Mark has been a resident of Florida and fishing the waters surrounding Islamorada and the backcountry for over 20 years. He grew up in Connecticut on the water and loves both saltwater and freshwater fishing. He went to school in Arizona before moving out to Colorado, when he became a fly fishing guide in 2000.
