- Background
- Hi, I'm Captain Gregg an experienced charter captain with over 30 years in the fishing business. I'm passionate about fishing and knowledgeable in the fishing industry. Born and raised in Sarasota Florida, I'm a USCG 100 Ton Licensed Master Charter Boat Captain. I'll take you to coral reefs that hold many species of fish including grouper, snapper, flounder, red fish, king mackeral, shark and many other reef inhabitants. My customer service skills and attitude make a great day on the water for all to enjoy the experience you will have fishing. Come out and spend the day with me, Captain Gregg and have some real fishing stories to talk about.
- Techniques
- I always ask my clients what type of fishing they want to do before I make any recommendations. My style of fishing is simple, look for the signs on the water where I have the best possible chance of catching fish and put my clients onto it. The techniques I use come with experience and the knowledge to know the water temps, time of day and water flow. I use planners for trolling and bombers on the upside. Skirts for ballyhoo when trolling for the game fish. Depending on the type of day with wind and current flow will predict how I set for bottom fishing.
