We had a great time on our trip with Jason.  The boat is well equipped and Jason knows the area very well .  The ones that were new to fishing on our trip had a blast catching the mackerel for bait, four at a time .  They also enjoyed pulling up one of Jason’s lobster pots, and seeing the lobster , and hearing about the lobster fishery in Maine.  Fishing was a bit slow this day, but Jason stuck with it and switched up spots a number of times, and we did catch a 28 inch striper.  And Casco... Despite the unusually cold water conditions Jason put our group of four into a position to land three stripers (one each for three fishermen). Two of those landed were very, very (did I say very?) close to being keepers, but our group wasn’t altogether disappointed to release them for someone else to enjoy catching them again. Booked Whiptail for my dad’s 70th birthday. We had never been on a charter trip out of Portland so we were very excited to go. Jason was very knowledgeable about the area and brought us to a couple spots looking for Stripers. We ended up catching 4x fish all just 1/2 inch shy of being keepers, but the hunt was fun indeed! We hope to get out there again with Jason in the future, maybe when it’s not so windy out too! I highly recommend booking this trip for fishing fun!

Had four guys and there was plenty of space on the boat.  Jason knows how to find fish and what to do.  We thoroughly enjoyed the six hour trip.  Everyone caught fish and had a great time.  Was a pleasure to get to fish with Jason.  Would go with him again.
