John and his first mate were incredible. They knew the best spots to catch fish and had several types of bait to choose from based on what was hitting the most that day. I would highly recommend him and I plan on doing another trip with him soon

The weather was a bit chilly but the accommodations could not be better. Captain John and First Mate Chris were wonderful. They were both informative, quick to assist, and laid back. Our family enjoyed our time and look forward to fishing again in the summer. Last note, the boat was very comfortable and the perfect size for us all. In all thank you both for a memorable day.

Absolutely the best fishing trip ever. Definitely going back. Capt. John and Chris are the best. We’re making Trigger fish tacos for dinner tonight from our catch. Can’t say enough about the Top Shelf team.

This was my first time fishing in the ocean.  While we didn’t catch a ton of big ones, the ones we did get were memorable.  Bottom fishing was great since we caught something on virtually every cast.

Captain John was super fun!!!  He and Kris were great with the kids!!  I definitely recommend him!!
