We went on a half day with a family of 5 and had a fun day despite the bad weather.  It was very windy, but we still found fish and enjoyed shelling and swimming on an isolated sandbar.  To me,  the most important part of any charter is whether I actually enjoy hanging out with the captain and deck hand.  These guys are fun, easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and entertaining.  We had a great time with our new friends.  Catching fish was a bonus.

This was an experience booked for the kids (ages 15-21) and it was amazing! Randy and Adam aka chum boy were great. They were engaging and encouraging. All 4 kids caught sharks, It’s was clear both these men knew their stuff and I felt safe with them on the ocean. We will absolutely be booking with this group in the future.

Captain Randy and Mate Austin did a fantastic job of putting us on fish and making the trip awesome. Looking forward to doing it again next year!

Captain Randy Smith and his First Mate Nick took great care of us aboard their boat. The water got really rough on our way to the best fishing site and one of our family members got sea sick. Randy and Nick worked together quickly to get ice into a wash cloth to put it on the back of my daughter’s neck to help her fight off her nausea. After sitting down with the washcloth in one of the most stable and cushy seats on the boat for a while, my daughter was able to get over to a fishing pole and help reel in a fish! This story gets even better: that fish the she reeled in was the biggest Blue Fish that we caught while we were out and it was also one of the biggest Blue Fish **ever** that Randy and Nick had seen get reeled in from their boat! In addition to Blue Fish, we caught Jack Fish, Spanish Mackerel and Lizard Fish. Another highlight of our trip was having Randy and Nick help us get a phenomenal group photo of us with historic Lookout Lighthouse in the background—it is certainly a postcard-worthy shot! We send our heartfelt thanks to **everyone** at Ali Kat for making this a very memorable experience for all 6 members of our family!

We took our 8-year-old and 7-year-old boys for their first ever fishing trip.  It couldn’t have gone better.  We were on mackerel immediately and had a great half-day trip.  It was perfect for our kids.  We will book again on our next visit to EI.
