Captain Jason grew up fishing the Chesapeake Bay in Virginia and quickly found a love for offshore and Gulf Stream fishing. North Carolina became his ideal fishing location and over the years he has worked on mastering fishing the waters of Eastern NC and the Crystal Coast. Captain Jason is a well-known captain in the area, experienced, and knowledgeable. He has several tournament titles and knows how to put you on the fish.

    Best trip ever! Catching a 10-11 foot Hammerhead

    Vacation Special: 6 Hour Trip • 5 adults • 1 child

    This was my secind fishing trip with Ali - Kat, and both trips were better then expected. The first trip we caught a lot of fish and then this second trip we caught the sharks we wanted to and then also a larger then expected hammerhead shark that made this trip and vacation. The knowledge, experience, and friendliness if the captain and first mate was amazing! Thank you Randy amd Zach. With the experience and memories that Ali-Kat has provided me and my boys with, you cannot put a price on that. so if you are planning on a fishing trip, I would definitely recommend Ali-Kat for the trip!

    Great first ocean fishing experience!

    Half Day Trip – Inshore • 5 adults • 3 children

    Captain Randy gave our 9 and 8 year an awesome experience. What started slow, after a quick tip to go just 2 mi offshore, turned into a phenomenal experience! Kids loved the fast boat roller coaster and then we got on Spanish mackerel with fish on non-stop. Capped off with a quick jaunt to Shackleford island on trip home! Oh and don't forget the arm workout with a 50lb shark! Excellent experience for first time kid fisherman and anglers looking for good eating fish. Would say once in a lifetime experience, but we look forward to making this a recurring beach trip activity and hoping they will all go this well!!

    Adrenaline-Packed Trip with an Amazing Crew!

    8 Hour Trip – Offshore Sharks • 4 adults

    Great experience from start to finish. The crew was extremely knowledgeable and knew exactly where to put us on fish, but what really stood out was how personable they were. They made everyone feel comfortable and kept the trip fun the entire time. The boat had great amenities and everything was clean and well kept. If you’re looking for an adrenaline-pumping fishing experience with a crew that truly knows what they’re doing, this is the charter to book. We had an awesome time and would absolutely do it again. l

    Half Day Trip – Shark • 5 adults • 2 children

    Our family of four, inclusing two boys 12 and 9, had the best experience! We did the half day shark charter, and would highly recommend this trip to others! We would love to do this again ourselves! Captain Randy and Adam were super knowledgeable, helpful, and truly cared about making this experience a positive and memorable one! We would absolutely recommend them! Our boys had a blast and haven’t stopped talking about the trip!

    Best trip ever!

    Half Day Trip – Inshore • 6 adults • 2 children

    Captain Randy and first mate Adam were great! By the end of the trip our kids were calling him Uncle Randy. We caught 30+ Spanish Mackeral and a handful of lizard fish. We then went out into deeper water and caught four sharks- one sand shark and three hammerhead! Our kids (10,9,8) were so excited to reel in the fish and sharks and then pulls them into the boat! Thanks for the memories!!

    Second trip with Jason and Adam. Caught 30+ Spanish mackerel 90 minutes into our trip then went shark fishing. Good trip and will do it again next year!

    I did a four hour trip with my daughter. We first caught a bunch of mackerel, then headed out for bigger fish. We caught two large hammerheads and another shark. Captain Jason and first mate were very professional and helpful. The Miss Lynn is a very nice and comfortable boat. We had a great time. Highly recommended!

    Captain Randy and Mate Adam did everything possible to make our trip successful. However, an off-shore storm ruined the fishing for all boats on this day. To save the day for the grandkids, Captain Randy took us to a special spot where we caught a 6’ sand bar shark. What a thrill. The only negative comment is regarding the boat. There are NO facilities for women on board. We had 3 generations of women on the 6-hr trip and all were worried about how to deal with the absence of facilities. Fortunately, none were needed until the end of the trip. Great trip for males, women be advised.

    we had a great time with captain randy and his helper Austin! They were very knowledgeable, explained everything to us, and was all around fun to be with! our kids had a blast! we caught Shark, spanish mackerel and a blue fish! 2 Hammer heads and a sand shark!
