Ali-Kat Sportfishing is your premier sportfishing charter on the Crystal Coast. Ran by the only IGFA Certified Saltwater Captain in this area, Capt. Jason Temple is ready to take you fishing. Based out of Emerald Isle, North Carolina, Captain Jason Temple and the Ali-Kat Sportfishing fleet offer four boats, giving you options to make you and your crew's trip a success.
Ali Kat Sportfishing's Miss Lynn is a 42' Bertram Sportfisher added to our fleet for the 2025 fishing season. She is moored in Morehead City at the Olympus Dive Center Dock on Shepard Street. She is outfitted with dual 450hp Cummins motors and offers a comfortable and dry ride. The immense fly bridge offers guest seating to capture the views of our beautiful area and great photo opportunities of your catch.
Miss Lynn offers a salon, full head/shower, kitchen with full size fridge and freezer and microwave. There's a sectional couch and chair for client comfort and plenty of room for your crew to move about.
There is also air conditioning for those needing an escape from the heat and the sun on these hot, hot summer days.

Great experience from start to finish. The crew was extremely knowledgeable and knew exactly where to put us on fish, but what really stood out was how personable they were. They made everyone feel comfortable and kept the trip fun the entire time. The boat had great amenities and everything was clean and well kept. If you’re looking for an adrenaline-pumping fishing experience with a crew that truly knows what they’re doing, this is the charter to book. We had an awesome time and would absolutely do it again. l
An Unforgettable Day on the Water! I booked this charter to catch shark — and we did! We landed four sand sharks and also caught a bunch of mackerel and bluefish. The trip was action-packed from start to finish. The captain knew exactly where to take us, and the first mate was fantastic — friendly, knowledgeable, and worked nonstop to make sure we were taken care of and catching fish. The boat was clean, the atmosphere was fun, and it was one of the best fishing trips I’ve ever been on. I would absolutely recommend this charter to anyone looking for a great day on the water, and I’ll definitely be booking with them again!
We had an amazing time with Captain Jason Temple and his First Mate Captain Randy. We did a half day trip and caught a lot of Bluefish and Spanish Mackerel right out of the marina and sand sharks at the end of our trip. Jason and Randy were amazing, friendly and made our trip awesome. Jason drove the boat to the best fishing sites and Randy kept the poles geared up for more excitement. Randy even cleaned the fish for us when we docked. We had a blast and loved this trip and we highly recommend them for your next adventure.
We had a blast. Enjoyed the entire trip. On time , caught fish and on the water. Couldnt ask for a better time. Thanks again guys. See ya in the fall for a longer trip!
We caught tons of Spanish Mackerel, then ended the trip with multiple shark! Crew was awesome the whole time, helped with the kiddo and I would highly recommend!
