I researched a lot of charters and landed on this one which I booked in January of 2023.  Captain Damien’s boat is HUGE, and has a bathroom…other charters I saw didn’t.  The booking process was super easy with a reasonable down payment.

I received emails leading up to the trip reminding me of the trip and Captain Damien personally called me the day before to give me the rundown on what to bring, what to expect, etc.  He is super cool, professional, knowledgeable, and laid back.

When we got on the charter, it was immediately apparent it was going to be a great time…and it WAS!  The boys loved every minute of it and so did I!  We caught a bunch of bait fish which was fun and headed out to catch grouper, snapped, etc.  it’s obvious Captain Damien knows what he’s doing…he wasted no time staying in an area where the bites weren’t happening enough…he would have Nick pull up anchor and BAM!  We’re off to a better spot with more action.  After we got back with our haul, Nick did a great job cleaning all the fish, bagging it up, and putting it on ice for us.  Then Captain Damien recommended going to the Boat Yard to have them cook it up…it was AMAZING!  Captain Damien and Nick are great guys who were patient AND expeditious in how they were teaching the boys how to fish so that the boys could have the best experience possible.  This charter did not disappoint, and my son said his buddies are still talking about it being the highlight of their spring break trip- I agree!  I already told Captain Damien and Nick that we’re planning on coming back in November and if it happens, we will DEFINITELY be going out with them again. I’ve been on other charters and I can’t recommend them enough- don’t even waste your time looking at other charters; book this one if you can.

We had a great time even though the water is way too hot for really good fishing right now. Also the season was closed for all Grouper which we did catch several of and had to throw back. Captain Damian is very friendly and has a great personality. He pointed out wildlife, and had conversations with everyone. Just a super nice guy and really knowledgeable guide. We still managed to catch enough for a fish fry which is what we really wanted to do anyway so overall a great experience. Considering going out again when the weather and fishing is better.

My trip with Captain Damian was a real success.  I went with my 14 year old grandson.  We are not experience anglers but the crew made us feel very comfortable and welcome.  They were very helpful, we caught lots of fish and the friendly atmosphere on board was delightful.  If I’m in the area again and want to go fishing I would certainly book another trip with him.
