From start to finish a very well organised morning fishing trip with brilliant communications. First time sea fishing for my 9yr old son and myself and we loved it. The morning was much cooler and also got to watch the sunrise. The captain was extremely welcoming, knowledgable and super friendly. Pickup was right on tine, the captain and mate were great, the boat clean, refreshments provided. No tuna or big game fish this time, but that was to be expected, you have to be really lucky for something like that on the first trip out. Once the tuna run finished we were taken to various spots for puffer and mouse fish and there was a lot of activity, perfect for children to enjoy fishing and especially so if they’re old enough to fish on their own. This is our 4th trip with Socrates and we always have a great time. We’ve always come away catching lots of fish which is enjoyable for all involved. Socrates fishing charters was absolutely brilliant. The Captain Neofytou and his skipper knew exactly where to go and make you feel welcome aboard his boat. My son (17) and myself went along, along with some others (10 in total) and we all managed to catch some great fish. If we was here longer we would have definitely gone out again with them.
