Our group had never been on Lake Michigan much less charter fishing on the “Big Lake”. Captain Tony treated us right! The fish weren’t biting early but, Captain Tony was not deterred. He let us fish well into the evening until a large Chinook and Coho were reeled in. We also caught a nice Lake Trout and a smaller Chinook. It was so fun to spend this time with Captain Tony. He knows the lake, it’s fish life, has a great boat and went the extra mile to make sure we didn’t end up empty handed. His enthusiasm for charter fishing is contagious. Great personality, friendly and passionate about the sport. Thank you Captain Tony, you made the Birthday girls very happy!

🚤 We had an outstanding day out on Lake Michigan with Captain Tony Herbert of Lured Inn Charters in South Haven, MI! It was an incredible experience for our entire family. My husband and I don’t usually fish, but we enjoyed it as much as our two 15-year-old sons. We couldn’t believe we caught four great big fish: 2 King Salmon that were around 20-25 lbs each, a similar size Trout, and about a 15 lb Steelhead Trout! What a haul!

I have a whole new respect for what it takes to reel in one of these beautiful fish. 🐟 I highly recommend booking with Tony. As a deeply experienced fisherman, husband, and dad, he is very tuned into making sure everyone is safe and has a great fishing experience. He is hardworking, has a wonderful personality, and has one of the biggest, best-equipped boats in South Haven. Note, as former Lake MI boaters, you want to seek a good-sized, well-equipped boat that can handle any sudden changes in weather / lake conditions, particularly on Lake Michigan if you’re not familiar. Plus, you have plenty of room to reel in a monster! The coolest experience ever!

Tony was a really fun captain. Interacted with entire crew for the bachelor party like he we had known him forever. Had an awesome trip and would for sure go again.

Three brother-in-laws and their sons went on the four hour afternoon trip. Tony was great to talk to and had a wealth of knowledge. He was extremely patient with the boys and while we did t catch a lot of fish, we had a great time chatting it up with Tony.
