Unforgettable Fishing Trip – Above and Beyond!

Austin was absolutely amazing! He waited patiently even though we were very late and never made us feel rushed; instead he stayed out late to make sure we got the experience of a lifetime. He went above and beyond to make the trip special—especially for my 8-year-old son, who caught an actual shark! 

Kind, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable, he made the whole experience fun and memorable—complete with offering ice cold water and granola bars he keeps for guests. If you’re looking for the best guide out there, this is the one. Highly recommend!

As a visitor to New York, I wanted something more than city streets and skyscrapers — and Austin Outfitters delivered just that. In just one trip, we caught 15+ fish including beautiful Summer Flounder, and spent a blissful day immersed in nature. In planning a family trip to NYC, our fishing-loving 11 year old son asked if we could go on a fishing excursion. While a bit unusual considering all of our other tourist destinations (first time in NYC for our boys), we were up for giving it a try. Wow, Austin Outfitters made our trip!  Captain Austin was very helpful through the booking process and a great communicator all along the way - super responsive to all of our questions via the app. The best part, we just showed up to the marina and he had everything handled. He asked good questions about what experience we were looking for, and got us on the fish right away. Our two boys had a great time pulling in multiple kinds of fish. He also provided interesting information about the fish species, tides, weather, etc. Overall, Captain Austin is a great guy who loves NY and loves fishing. We would highly recommended Austin Outfitters!

Came from OKC to visit my son in NYC and had a great time on the water. Austin put us on blues, stripers and soup. We were late getting there in the morning, so Austin stayed late to give us more time. Get him booked quick!
